3 days until Christmas

I woke up at flipping 9 o'clock in the morning to the sound of someone knocking at the door. I groaned and shouted 'Just a minute'. I slipped on my slippers and walked downstairs. I looked like a mess but oh well. I opened the door and-
"Daisy oh thank goodness your okay!" A male's voice. The boy wrapped his arms around me, almost pushing me over.
"L-LEWIS WHAT THE FUCK!" I shouted. Instant regret. He didn't let go though. There was no laughter, just general relief from him. I hugged back after I heard him sobbing quietly. "Lewis..."
"D-Didn't you see t-the news last night??" I chuckled.
"Come on we've known each other for five years how do you not know that I don't watch the news." I smiled and hugged him a bit tighter. I remembered when he fell over in year five and scraped his knee, I ran over to him so quickly and gave him the biggest hug and let him cry.
"A-A girl... A girl was found dead..."
"Who?..."

'Girl with long dark brown hair, named Anna Willows killed in Pinewood Forest. Killer unknown, found with a hole in her stomach and her eyes missing. Her blood wasn't red, it was black. Weird veiny lines spread out from the wounds'
That was all I found out while watching the news. I was horrified. Pinewood is where I live. I had black blood seep out of my wound, and weird veiny lines. I know that girl, she use to go to my primary school. These were connected, for sure. Lewis seemed to notice my terror and wrapped his arm around me, in a comforting way I suppose.
"I can't believe it..."
"It was that monster, or Static, or that weird cat thing." He murmured, his eyes glazed and distant.
"Yeah...."
Silence. A few awkward moments of silence.
"I miss my sister."
"I miss Ben."
We looked at each other and smiled. Not a flirty smile, but a sympathy smile. I looked away and noticed that I was still in my onesie.
"Mind if I go get changed?" Lewis nodded.
"Mind if I stay over for the night? I encountered a little grey devil cat on the way here, don't feel like getting murdered today." I smiled.
"Sure.... Won't you need sleepover stuff though?"
"That's why I brought my rucsac, just in case." He smiled.

I came back downstairs later in the same outfit I had worn the past day. Lewis was lying on the sofa, playing his DS.
Lets just say we spent the rest of the night making bad puns and laughing our heads off in silent worry and fear as the monster circled around the house.

((Sorry this one is a little short, I promise the next two will be MUCH better ;3))
