~Daisy's P.O.V~
Finally, the weekend. Though should I be happy about that? I yawned and sat up in my bed, wiping my eyes. I looked around my room, still trying to get my eyes to render the room around me. I looked to where my window should be, and there was a wall. As my vision came into focus, I realised the wall colour was different, the furniture was different, the entire room was different. This wasn't my room.
"So your awake." I sighed in relief as the memories came flooding back. I was at June's house for a sleepover. I lied back down in the decently comfy bed.
"How long have you been awake for?" I asked, not wanting to have kept her waiting.
"Like ten minutes." She replied. I nodded and looked out the window where morning sunlight shone through. Trees surrounded her house, and I remembered she lived in a forest like me. And then I remembered...

I ran across the path, my legs aching, my chest on fire, breathing heavily. June ran a little ahead of me, must faster and more athletic. I could hear the growling and yowling from the cat behind us. No, you couldn't call it a cat, It was a demon. It's eyes were hollow and black, it's fur a sickly grey tabby, it's claws no longer claws, but sharp spikes. And what was most disturbing was it's stomach. A long gash went all the way down, thick and split open. From it dripped sticky black blood. You could see it's rips, the bones being the only thing that held this thing in place from it's lack of organs that probably made their escape through the cut.

"Sleep well?" June's australian accent snapped me out of my thoughts. That cat... I shuddered and turned to her, putting on my best fake smile.
"Yeah, as good as I can." June grinned and nodded, grabbing the unfinished bowl of popcorn that we had last night while watching disney movies. "Gimme some!" I giggled and tackled her, sending the popcorn to spill all over the bed and floor. We wrestled and fought over the scattered food, laughing the whole time and stuffing as much as we could into our mouths. Once we had finished, I heard a muffled ringing noise coming from my bag.
"What was that?" She asked.
"My phone." I rolled over to my bag and searched through it until I felt the rectangular shape of my phone. It was vibrating and ringing every few seconds. I got it out and rolled my eyes dramatically at the incoming texts from Ben, all spamming emojis. I put my phone on silent and slipped it back into my bag.
"Who was it?"
"Take a wild guess." I smiled. June hesitated then giggled a bit.
"Oooh was it your boyfriend?~" She said with a sing-song tone in her voice. I groaned. She always teases me about him...
"He's not my boyfriend." I stated, though by the cheeky look on her face I knew she was still going to ship the crap out of us.
"Okay but I will get you two together at some point." I rolled my eyes at her remark. I can imagine me and Ben being a couple, I mean it's bound to happen probably. This is what happens when you have a best guy friend.
"I know you will." I smiled. I could hear my phone still going crazy in my bag. I groaned and got it out again.
'daisy i know youve seen my texts reply to me plz'
How was I supposed to reply to spam emojis?!
'What do you want?'
'i wanna talk, my wii and xbox aren't working im bored'

'Come round June's, we just had a sleepover'
June was peering over my shoulder and nodded before I pressed send.
'kk ♥'
I smiled at his text.
"Aww!~ he sent you a heart!" I rolled my eyes. We always send hearts to each other, it's what friends do.
"No shit sherlock." I responded, that being my favourite thing to say at the time. June giggled and returned to her side of the bed. And so we sat there, talking about anime and otaku stuff. Until we heard the knock at the door. And then I remembered we were both still in our pajamas.
