-Elise's POV-
I awoke with a smile,
I crawled across my bed and took out a stash of money from under the bed, counting out a hundred dollars,
I got changed and headed out,
I headed into the art store and bought two large sets of paint and brushes,
And also a giant canvas.
I headed back and sat the white canvas up on the wall,
I got the brush and free-handed a coffin, washing the area out with water and beginning to add spurts of colour in the roses which were Crimson. Which contrasted with the cool colours and tones on the coffin.***
Painting carried on for 8 hours,
She painted until her knees gave in from standing so long,
She groaned and slipped on two knee supports to support her leg joints so they wouldn't click out of place so often.
She stood back and looked at her painting from afar.
She added some white and light tones to highlight and she was ready to send it away.
To Chris of course.
She pulled on some boots and covered the canvas in a clear folder,
She signed the painting with the usual 'W.A.S.P' and headed out.
She didn't know how long she had spent on her work until she stepped outside into the cold.
She shivered, zipping up her leather jacket and headed out into the car park.
The night was haunting.
Danger at every unknown corner, she never knew this place, let alone at night.
She gulped and headed through a dark alleyway and headed through the empty streets.-Elise's POV-
I finally made it to Chris's house.
I smiled and took one last look at the canvas before knocking on the door.
I rose my hand to knock when I heard the door unlock itself.
I jumped and hid in behind the wall, in the bushes. Keeping myself in darkness.***
A beam of light stuck up the pathway of Chris's front garden,
Out coming a girl in high heals.
Sarah it was,
Elise distinctly noticed the way she walked and the colour of her hair.
And noticing who it was made her stomach drop.
A lump caught in her throat as she kept quiet.
Chris walked out and put his arm around her after locking the door.
Him in a suit and tie, Elise noticing the strong smell of expensive perfume that made her eyes water,
They were clearly heading for a night out somewhere that was not cheap.
"You look gorgeous" she heard Chris say to his love.
Elise watched with her tired eyes as they got in a taxi that was waiting for them.
The car drove off and Elise stood up and crossed her arms,
She picked up the artwork and headed down the pathway,
She watched as the lights of the car got smaller down the road.
A tear ran down her cheek,
She walked back in the darkness and dumped the canvas in a large dumpster just up by Chris's house.
She put her hood up and rushed home in tears,
She didn't know what she was feeling.
The pain in her chest was unknown to her.
If this is how love feels like then she sure as hell didn't want anything to do with it.
She rushed down the street when she bumped into someone.
Falling back on the ground.
She looked up to see a man in decorate makeup and with dreadlocks.
"Elise?"
