Bonding Time

-Chris's POV-

"And he kept staring and me and my friends by the front gates when the bell rang, what a creep, I hope he's not our new teach-
"Hannah, I'm on the phone" said my mom,
"Hey mom"
My mom left the room, phone against her ear.
"Hey Elise!" Smiled Hannah giving her a tight hug,
"Hey Hannah your looking nice"
"I'm going out with friends" she said doodling in her notebook at the kitchen table,
"Pfft, you have friends?" I said grabbing a can from the fridge,
"I met some last week for your information, better than any of your friends at your age Chris"
"Fuck you Hannah"
"Your so mean Chris" she huffed,
Her mobile went off and she answered it,
"Oh hey Olivia" she smiled,

"Oh- okay- I guess another time then" she said sadly

"Yeah... Bye"
She hung up,
"What was that about Hannah?" Asked Elise,
"My friends forgot about me and already got on a bus to the city" she sighed sadly,
I accidentally laughed and Elise gave me a evil glare,
"Sorry I uhh-
"Fuck em," said Elise,
"Huh?"
"My apologies for swearing, I'll hang out with you if you want"
"Really?!"
"Yeah where do you wanna go, I don't know this place"
"Can we go take photos for my photography project?!" She gasped,
"Sure"
"Yeah you two have fun with that I'm gonna call vinny and ask if we wanna kick it back at my pleas and eat pizza."
"Alright"
"I'll grab my camera!" Said Hannah running upstairs,
"I'll Seeya later then?" Said Elise,
"You bet, have fun yeah?" I said giving her a quick kiss on the lips.
"I will" she nodded.
"Hey Elise you coming?!" Yelled Hannah,
"Right behind you"

-Elise's POV-

We were walking through the woods observing all the different wild flowers.

"Do you think flowers can feel?" Said Hannah out of the blue,
"I'm not sure"
"I bet I was a flower I would be sad"
"Why is that?" I asked leaning against a tree while she took photographs.
"All we do is sit in the same spot watching everything around us change, I would find it sad because I'd have to watch what the world has come to"
"We all know what the world has come to"
"Yes, but not like we think" she said
I frowned, "I don't understand"
"I was born in 2002, but people were talking about the world before 2002, I was born in the madness, I haven't even tasted the 'good ol days' so how can I judge it, you have though,"

"The late 80s wasn't all that good, the era hid behind the music, the reality was drugs drugs drugs"
"Did you take drugs?"
"Yes and no"
"What do you mean"
"It's complicated"
"Your intense Elise I must say"
I blushed,
"But that's you isn't it, and I love it" she smiled linking arms.
We sat on the dock looking out onto the lake,
The sunset's reflection in the water.
"This is gonna be my favourite memory of this year" she smiled
"Oh really?"
"Yup"
"What was your favourite memory?" She asked,
"Me and my sister went skinny dipping in the lake once, I would have been your age actually"
"Never been skinny dipping"
I nodded,
She pulled her dress over her head and stripped naked.
I smiled pulling my shirt over my head and did the same.
We both stood arms crossed.
"This is gonna be freezing you know that right" I shivered
"Together?" She said grabbing my hand.
"Together" I smiled
"One two three!" We both yelled jumping into the lake.

We both laughed slashing each other.
"This is so fun!!!" She screamed.
I smiled, as her laughing lit up my day.
We both stopped to cat our breath.
"Elise?"
"Yeah?"
"You have such a flawless body, why must you hide it with so much clothing"
"What do you mean"
"Well you always have your shoulders covered and never wear dresses"
"I have my reasons, but I never felt the need to Anyways, I would rather much be noticed for who I am as a person than the size of my waist and chest"
She smiled, "your right"
