The stench of cheap coffee and cigarette smoke stained the walls and the police officer's uniform as they sat in the investigation room of Scranton City Police Station.
"So what you thinking?"
"What do you mean what am I thinking, I told you, we tell him the truth and the deal is done"
"We still haven't found the body Charlie, we can't just-
"Yes we can we have proof, hard proof, we found traces of Hannah's blood splattered on the trees and leaves"
"But she could have lived"
"Dennis, this conversation is over" said Charlie
Dennis sighed and heard a few knocks on the door,
"Come in" said Charlie who was sitting at his desk,
In came Chris, wearing his shirt buttoned to the top.
"Ahh Chris, thankyou for joining us"
"So what have you found"
"Well- sighed Charlie sorting out the evidence in the box of paperwork.

Elise flinched to the sound of knocks on the front door.
She struggled out of bed and semi limped to the front door.
She opened the door to see Jaime,
"Chris called I- I heard you wanted to talk?"
"Yeah come in" she said tensely,
"I'll make tea" she said quietly as Jaime sat on the end of the sofa.
"I head what happened with your therapist" said Jaime sadly.
"I'm really, really sorry Elise"
"There is no need to apologise, it wasn't your fault"
"No I guess not, nor isn't yours either, infact the only person to blame is the man that done such a thing"
"It's not a blaming situation, it just happens and we deal with it, it's best not to dwell on it"
"Yeah, tell that to Ricky" she sighed as Elise handed her a mug of tea,
"Why, how is Ricky?"
"He's a mess, when Chris told him he blamed himself, I'm not sure why"
"He uhh- he was the one who set me up with the dietitian."
"Rick did?"
"Yeah, he was worried about me, can't blame him, I'm pretty fucked up, but it's not his fault, I must talk with him, how is he?"
"He's been depressed for weeks, I got better and he just got really bad,"
"Poor Rick, tell him that it isn't his fault, I can't have him feel bad for one of my problems"
" I will, but don't worry about that just, come rest just now"
Elise nodded sleepily,
They both headed upstairs,
Jaime lay on the bed and so did Elise,
"You don't mind if I fall asleep on you do you? I having slept a wink in the last week"
"It's alright, I have some pyjamas you can borrow if you like"
"It's cool I have my boy boxers on" she giggled,
She took off her clothes and snuggled into the bed.
"I'm not like the other girlfriends, I'm not girly, I don't like lacy underwear, sports bras and shirts all the way" shrugged Jaime,
"Same here" she smiled
Jaime rested her head on Ellie's small stomach as they watched whatever was on the TV at that time.
"Those bruises, did he do that to you?"
"Yeah, he did"
"If you find it hard to talk to Chris, you know cause he's a guy. You can come to me"
"I will keep that in mind"
"It hurts to see you hurt Elise, I know this is weird but I love you"
"I- I love you too Jaime"
Jaime kissed a bruise she had on her wrist,
"Best babes forever?"
"Sure" she laughed

"I'm sorry Chris, we can get you so one to talk to if you wi-
"I don't need a fucking therapist! I need you to find this fuck who did this to my sister!" He said tears streaming down his cheeks.
"We are doing everything in our power to solve this-
"So what am I supposed to tell my mom now huh? That her little girl has probably murdered but her body hasn't been retrieved"
"She could still be alive!" Blurted Dennis
Chris looked over at Charlie and back at Dennis.
"You think? What are the possibilities" said Chris hopeful.
"The blood splatter on the leaves indicates that she was hit with a weapon, over the head, but there were no traces of blood on the ground so someone must have carried her, killers don't carry dead body's-
"They drag them." Said Chris in shock,
"Exactly, so she's still alive, we just gotta act quickly before that changes"
"Alright,"
"We have a search party ready to hit the streets in two days with specialists okay, we will contact you if we find anything else and you will with us if that's alright"
"Yeah I will thanks"
Chris left I'm a daze.

Hey guys
Sorry I haven't updated in the last few days and that this chapter is shit.
As I said exams are right round the corner which means it's that time of year where I'm at my lowest.
I have a college interview on Thursday so wish me luck!
Let's hope I get the chance to get the fuck out of this school and finally Pursue my career of being a makeup artist.
Anyways I relapsed tonight because of stress from school.
I'm just keeping together at the moment so yeah,
I love you guys so so much
