You've barely touched your breakfast" I said with concern, "I'm fine" she said quietly, "It's okay to be nervous, no one likes going to the doctor- "He's not a doctor he's a dietitian" "I- "Is he bothering you? Your always like- I dunno, troubled when you come here" "It's nothing g Chris" "I'll pick you up in an hour I have studio work to do" "Okay"
She got out the car and headed inside the building, I drove off, passing the studio and off the the library. I feel bad about lying to Elise like this, but I can't help myself. Impaired the car outside and bought an energy drink at a vending machine and i headed inside the abandoned library,
-Elise's POV-
I sipped my can of juice and headed inside the man's office, "Ahh Elsie, your looking well" I gave him a dark glare, "Sorry about last time, I guess we got on the wrong page huh?" "Yeah I think we did" i spat sitting down angrily. " why don't we start then" he grinned
-Chris's POV-
I wandered, searching through dusty shelves picking up any scrap of evidence I could find. I carried a pile of books to the desk, as the librarian whom was a middle aged man, smoking s cigarette and watching anime by the front desk. This place was empty, it did not matter to him and it didn't matter to me either. "If your wanted primary sources I can take you through the back" "What do you mean by primary sources " "You never went to college did you" "I dropped out of school at sixteen" I shrugged, "Primary sources mean information that was taken at the time of the event,for example photographs, interviews back then, we have old newspaper articles published that talk about this man, also photographs if you wanna take a look" "Sure that be great" I sat in the small room and flicked through the images on s projector screen,w Most of them were of him and his wife, covering their faces from the paparazzi in the streets.

They looked so happy back then, what happened? Did they both hate her? I sat back in my chair, my eyes scanning across old published newspapers, I guess I'll start reading the books, there's nothing for me here.
-Elise's POV-
"There's no reason for me to be here" I rolled my eyes zipping up my hoodie, "And why do you say that?" "I'm not getting any healthier because I can't put on weight- I felt a sting against my cheek, my fists clenched in realisation that yet again, this man struck me. He grabbed me by the hair and kicked my side, "Bad girl" he said spitting on Chris's hoodie which I borrowed, I lay on the ground silent. *** 'Bad girl', those words said many times by her father, which always resulted in a beating from a belt. 'I must do as I'm told, I must not cry, I must not feel. I must not feel love, nor receive it' those words were engraved into her mind like a prayer. She let out a small smile as he grabbed her hair, making her stand up, Her face stayed emotionless. "Why aren't you weeping, I just hit you, what are you a fucking robot?" "I mustn't feel" She picked up her bag and left at that.
-Chris's POV-
I sighed and rubbed my tired eyes from reading, no luck. I couldn't find a thing. I stared at the pile of books on the desk when my eyes came across a small print on the spine of the book. The name, S.S.Johanna Then it hit me, the author, of course. I logged on the computer and researched the name, she was a journalist originally but now a writer, I found her email address and wrote it on a pice of paper and left at that, "Got what you needed?" Asked the guy, "I've got everything I need" I smiled holding up the paper, I left the library and headed into the darkness.
