Chapter Fifty Four

I spent the rest of the night laughing, dancing, and partying with my husband. I didn't care what anybody else thought, I was happy and he was happy.

The party ended late that night, the last group to leave was after midnight. Ronnie and I, as well as a few others, stayed the night on the island. The members of Falling in Reverse, Escape the Fate, and a few close friends of mine stayed on the island with us.

Ryan lit a fire on the patio and we all sat around it, admiring the stars. I finally "officially" introduced myself to Christian and Zakk, the two new guys.

"Has big shot over here told you about our tour yet?" Zakk asks, referring to Ronnie.

"No," I say, snuggling up against him.

"We're going on a world tour in a week," Ronnie adds.

"And you choose to tell me this now?" I give him a look.

"We haven't had a real conversation in awhile, what did you expect?" He returns the look.

"Aww, newly wed's first fight," Ryan jokes.

"How long are you going to be gone?" I ask, not wanting to know the answer.

"That's the thing.." He starts.

"Yeah," Ryan adds, "you're probably not going to like it.."

"It's kinda.." Zakk joins in the conversation.

"It's a year," Christian finally says, "oh my god was it that hard to tell her?"

"Juliet isn't very good with hearing news," Derek whispers loud enough for everyone to hear.

"That's fine," I say, pulling myself away from Ronnie.

"You're lying," Ronnie says.

"No seriously," I sit up, trying to look calm, "you're a rock star, I get it."

"Just go with us," Christian says, "gosh you all make everything so difficult."

I wanted them to think I was independent enough to be without Ronnie for a little while. Besides, I did enough touring with Escape the Fate.

"Like I said, it's totally fine," I say, leaning back on the lounger, "I have to catch up on work anyways."

"Quit your job," Ronnie suggests.

"Babe, I can't just quit my job, I have to do something with my life."

"Bring work with you then," Ryan adds, "write about being on tour with Falling in Reverse."

"I'd have to talk to my boss, but still," I say.

"Think about it," Christian says.

"It's getting late though, we should head to bed," Derek says, rounding up the band.

"We should probably get some rest too," I say, dragging Ronnie along with me.

"Well congrats to you two," Zakk says, "We'll see you in the morning."

It was now three in the morning and all I wanted to do was sleep. Ronnie headed to one side of the island while I headed to the other, making sure everything was locked and turned off throughout the island.

"Hey, Juliet," a voice calls me as I'm leaving the guest quarters.

"TJ?" I turn around and come face to face with my ex fiance.

"Hey," he starts walking with me, "I'm sorry all this had to happen."

"Why are you sorry?" I ask.
