The show was fantastic overall, I had a blast. Craig finally admitted that I wasn't his cousin, so Kevin Mabbitt is out of the picture. Of course, Bryan wants to reshoot the interview now that he knows the truth about me.
After the show we found our way back to the hotel and ate dinner at the lounge. Life couldn't get any better than this.
"So have you seen the video yet?" Craig asks me.
"What video?" I set down my drink and give him a weird look.
"The music video," he rolls his eyes and smiles.
"Oh, not yet," I laugh. "Why do you ask?" I set down my drink and look around at the rest of the band, eavesdropping on our conversation.
"You have to show us," he grins.
So that's what we did after we finished our drinks. I wasn't very comfortable with it, but I'm okay with making fun of myself anyways.
We went back to our room and all gathered around my laptop. It was even weirder being squished around my laptop, so I plugged it into the TV. Now we'll all have a better view of my mistakes.
"Before I press play, I just want to-"
"Stop stalling," Robert interrupts me.
I start the video and snuggle in between Victoria and Craig. Now we wait for the awkward tension.
Ten seconds into the video I can already tell this was a bad idea by the look on Craig's face. This was probably a really bad idea, but they all asked for it.
"Pink room, huh?" Max teases.
"It's not real," I eye him.
I was feeling better after the first scene was out of the way, but I forgot my part wasn't over. The phone booth scene was okay and didn't draw too much attention though.
The kiss scene is what made the tension rise. We were all really quiet after that. Once the music video was over we all just sat there in silence.
"Well, you were very pretty, Juliet," Allison breaks the silence.
"I think it's getting late, so we're going to bed," Robert takes Victoria's hand and leaves the room.
"Same here," Max drags Allison out.
"Well, I've got nothing to do," Bryan makes himself comfortable.
"Monte," Craig gives him a look.
Monte? Something must be going on, otherwise he would've called him Bryan. He quickly leaves the room we we're left in the silence.
"That was hilarious," Craig says with a straight face. We both can't take it anymore and burst out laughing.
"I know right?" I roll my eyes and smile.
"I guess you really are the drug," he smiles.
Now I feel better knowing he's okay with the music video. It all really was one big joke and now I can see that.
"I've got an idea," he grins from ear to eat.
"Oh no, what is it?" I shake my head and laugh.
"You've got the entire album right? I bet you twenty bucks there are more songs about me than you."
This will be an easy bet, I know there's more songs about me. "Fine, you're on," I plug the flash drive into my laptop and search for the album.
We lay on the floor and stare at the ceiling, listening to the music. I hate to admit it, but Ronnie is really talented.
"I don't know, this first one is pretty conflictive," Craig looks over at me.
"Well I think it could go either way. I think I'll give you this one, though," I reach over and take his hand.
"Alright, so Raised By Wolves goes to me," he laughs.
"Let's see what's next," I play the next song.
"What's this one called?"
"Tragic Magic," I look over at him.
This was the song that brought me to tears. It was so real to me that it hurt.
It took us forty five minutes to get through all of the songs on the album and we had a pretty good list by the end.
"Alright I have Raised By Wolves, Sink Or Swim, Caught Like A Fly, and The Westerner," Craig reads off his list.
"Lets see," I begin. "The Drug In Me Is You, possibly Good Girls Bad Guys, Pick Up The Phone, and Goodbye Graceful."
"So I win?"
"I'm not finished," I say. "Songs that are about something totally different include I'm Not A Vampire and Don't Mess With Ouija Boards."
"What about Tragic Magic? That one hit us both pretty hard," he looses his gaze on the ceiling and looks at me.
"I don't know how to feel about that one. I don't really want to think about that one," I sit up and check my phone out of nervous habit.
"So it's tie?" Craig wraps his arms around me and kisses my cheek.
"Yes, we're both equally hated," I roll my eyes.
"Hey, baby, do you have your phone charger? I think I forgot mine at the house," Craig asks.
"Yeah, I just had it at the lounge. I must of left it," I get up and head for the door.
"Thanks, my phone is completely dead."
I start to make my way back to the lounge, but I'm way too tired to make sense of anything at the moment, so I just try to find my way around the seventh floor and hope I run into it.
I watch my feet the entire walk down the hallways, I probably should of put my shoes back on before I left.
That was when it all went black.
