Things were great that first month. Ronnie finally landed it with his new band, Falling In Reverse. They're still working on some new songs for the album, but it's great so far.

I've been going on about my life. My job is going smoothly and I've made friends with Ronnie's band.

There's Jacky Vincnt, my personal favorite. He's the lead guitar in the band and an excellent listener. Then there's Ryan Seaman, of course, we make fun of his name. Ryan is the drummer. Then we have Derek, the rhythm guitarist, and Ron, the bassist.

Things were perfect and I wanted it to stay like this forever.

I loved having Ronnie back home.

Until now.

It was a long day and it seemed to just be getting longer. I was glad to be off of work for the day. I was looking forward to going home.

So I'm walking up the stairs to my apartment and I'm stopped by Brad.

"Jewels, Ronnie brought a girl home earlier," he says to me in a hushed voice.

"What?" I ask, full of fear.

"I'm sorry, darling. I don't know if there's a connection or anything, but I thought you needed to know before you went in," He gives me a supportive hug.

"I guess it's time to throw someone across the parking lot," I say quietly.

"You go, girl. If something is happening, just come next door and I'll take you somewhere else."

I quietly unlock my door and sneak into the apartment. I hear voices in the bedroom and I'm automatically burning with fear.

I tiptoe to MY bedroom and throw my car keys at him, "Here, you're going to need these because I'm leaving you," I say shaking with fear.

"Holy shit," he says, pulling the sheets around himself and another girl.

I storm out before he has a chance to say anything else.

"Juliet!" I hear him calling down the hall.

I run down the stairs, choking on my tears. I pull out my phone and call Craig.

"Hello?"

I couldn't breathe. I just let the sound of my tears speak for itself.

"Julie? Are you crying?"

"Can you come pick me up?" I quietly breathe into the phone.

"Say no more, I'll be there in a few minutes." Craig hangs up.

"Juliet! Come back here, baby!" I hear from the top of the stairs.

"Fuck you!" I scream, holding back my tears. I take my heels off and run out to the street.

I walk for about ten minutes until I see a Taco Bell, so I walk in and get myself a soda to calm me down.

I pick a table by the window and watch everything go by. I soon see my car drive by and the tears start to come again. "Fuck boy," I whisper to myself.

My phone starts to ring and I fill with fear again. I look at it and realize it's just Craig calling, so I pick up.

"Julie, I'm at your apartment but your car isn't here. Where are you?" He sounds worried.

"Taco Bell down the road." I say in a calm voice.

"Alright. Give me five minutes."

I sit there, sipping on my Mountain Dew, trying to collect my thoughts.

Why would he do that? Two years I waited for him. The second he gets back he finds someone else.

I'm shaking with anger by the time Craig arrives.

I walk outside with my drink and he meets me at the door.

"Julie, what the fuck happened?" He asks.

I burst into tears, unable to speak.

Craig pulls me into his arms and holds me tight. I don't know why, but it honestly doesn't feel that wrong. I bury my face in his shoulder and sob. I've never been so torn up in front of anyone like this.

"I'm going to kill him," he grits his teeth.

I'm paralyzed with anger, fear, and sadness all at the same time. "Fuck this," I say in a whisper.

"Shh, I know. You'll be okay, Julie. I have you now, you're okay," Craig says calmly.

I start shaking and sobbing even worse. We just stand in each others arms for a long time.

The silence is finally broken by a familiar voice that sends me back into years.

"Craig, get the fuck off my girlfriend."
