"Hello everybody, I'm Bryan Stars and I am here with," Bryan starts the interview off after guiding us to a dressing room backstage.
"I'm Victoria Garcia," Victoria smiles into the camera. She's must of done these a thousand times before.
"Allison Cooper," Allison does the same.
"Kevin Mabbitt," I say with regret. Why did I come up with such a stupid name? This is going to haunt me for years.
"So how is it like living with these guys? I mean, the shows and tours must get a little stressful on you all," he asks his first question.
"Well," Allison takes the lead, "It's really not as bad as it may seem. It's fun traveling the world, especially with the men we love."
"This tour is my favorite so far, being that we have Kevin here with us. I don't know how Craig got her to join us this round, but we are very grateful to have her here," Victoria smiles at me.
The attention is now caught on me, "Kevin, you're Craig's cousin, correct?"
I can't help but laugh at all of this like it's a joke.
"Yeah, its pretty great," I say nervously. Pretty great? What does that even mean?
"I bet you miss home. Is there anyone special waiting for you in Africa?" The questions are getting more uncomfortable.
"Oh no, not really. These two have someone special in their lives, why don't we talk about that?" I pull the attention off me.
The remainder of the interview went pretty well. Bryan asked us about the guys and our plans for this tour, so I didn't have to lie much more after that. I was just the weird cousin from Africa, so the questions stayed off of me. The interview ended after about an hour and we managed to catch up with the band at intermission.
"So, how did the interview go, Kevin?" Craig hisses at me.
"Oh shut up," I roll my eyes. "How's the show going?"
"I've always enjoyed this venue. They've always been such a lively crowd, so I'm pretty stoked," he stares at me for so long, it starts to get a little uncomfortable.
"Uh, are you doing good?" I stare back at him.
"This cousin thing was a bad idea. I can't kiss my cousin, that's just wrong," he breaks into a smile.
"I guess not," I can't help but to smile back at him. "Who says I can't be Juliet?"
"Well, you did introduce yourself as Kevin. I mean, you could of said Juliet, but Kevin's fine too," he nudges me.
"Whatever," I roll my eyes again, "I guess I get to be your creepy cousin from Africa for the remainder of the tour."
"Creepy?" He makes fun of me.
"Hi, my name is Kevin Mabbitt and I'm here with you all today because I like to stalk my cousin, Craig Mabbitt, as much as I can. Did I mention my parents were expecting a boy?" I give him a look.
"Woah, don't blame it on me."
"Shut up," I pull myself to him. "You're just jealous of the better cousin."
"Whatever, we all know I'm the better cousin," he wraps his arms around me.
I enjoy his company too much, it's like an addiction. I don't know how I'm going to live with being his "cousin" for the rest of the the tour, but it'll be okay, it's not forever.
I don't even know how I got myself into this. I mean, a few months ago I was spending my days watching Neflix and eating ice cream with my cat, and now I'm spending every second of the day with Craig Mabbitt. Pushing the thought away makes this a lot more harder.
"Hey Craig, I need to know what-" We jump apart when Bryan Stars joins us.
"Mom's calling me, gotta go," I walk away and let Craig handle the awkward situation.
Way to go, Juliet, you just keep making things worse.
