Dylan stood in the cafeteria, holding her lunch tray. She looked around, trying to find her roommate, Ema, who she had not seen since she left their room. Dylan eventually spotted her long, black hair, and sat down beside her.
"Got your hair cut, I see," she said sacrastically to Ema, observing that it nearly brushed the cafeteria floor.
"Trimmed," Ema corrected, "I got it trimmed."
"Where've you been?" Dylan asked, "I haven't seen you at all this morning."
"I was speaking to Professor Manning about the quiz material," Ema replied.
"Nerd," Dylan muttered to herself, "And where's Copycat?"
"Present!" a blond-haired girl answered, sitting herself next to Dylan.
"Hi, Sarah!" Ema exclaimed, "How've you been?"
"Great," Sarah expressed between mouthfuls of pizza, "Especially since the next Iron Man comic book came out!"
"Geek!" Ema joked, giving her a friendly punch on the shoulder.
"Have you two realized," Sarah began, "That our costumes are coming in today?"
"Really?" Ema asked.
"Aw yeah!" Dylan cheered, "The Three are gonna see some action!"
"Well," Ema corrected, "First we have to make sure they fit, and complete the test in the Danger Room, and go before..."
"Buuuuzzkiiiiilll!" Dylan interrupted, "Come on, that's gonna be a breeze!"
"Speaking of our training," Sarah butted in, "It's almost time to go!" The girls threw away their trash and replaced their trays as they exited the cafeteria. They entered the training facility, and made their way to a tucked-away corner at the far end of the room. A purple man - only referenced as such for lack of a better term - was waiting for them with three boxes.
"Hi, Indy!" Dylan called cheerfully, "How are you?"
"Doing fine," he smiled subtly, "Thank you." The girls tore into the boxes, eagerly slipping into their costumes.
"Fits great!" Sarah exclaimed happily.
"Mine does too!" Dylan cheered. Ema quietly agreed. Indy looked approvingly at the trio, and sent them to their next test.
"This is gonna be great!" Dylan smiled, nearly skipping down the hallway. Sarah agreed, but Ema felt that something wasn't right... as if it was just too easy.
"What about the test?"she thought to herself.
