Dylan, Ema, and Sarah leaned against an alley wall, psyching themselves up for the coming confrontation. Since their appearance two weeks ago, targets Blue and Blond had caused a lot of chaos. First being seen by a fast food restaraunt, they proceeded to beat up several bar-goers in a confrontation, killed several uknown pursuers which had since been named Whitecoats, and had led strange, half-man-half-animal creatures through the streets, though Ema insisted they were chasing the pair. Nevertheless, they were causing too much chaos to merely ignore. Ema closed her eyes, searching for them.

"They're close. Three blocks away."

"Alright," Dylan replied, "Let's go." Without waiting and without her teammates' consent, Dylan strolled out from behind the alley toward her targets.

"Hey!" she shouted, "You two! You're coming with me!" In response, the two ran to the right, ducking into a nearby alley. Dylan, with her stronger legs and more efficient muscles, quickly caught up to the boys, leaving her friends in the dust.

Without warning, the taller stopped on a dime, and drove a fist into her gut. She doubled over, puked, and continued the pursuit at a much slower pace.

"D***it!" she yelled, wiping the spew from her face, "Get back here!" The pair didn't oblige, and only ran faster.

"Funny," Ema gasped, having lost both of her companions, "That's what I... was going... to say..." Ema collapsed on the pavement.

But Sarah was not so quick to give up. She had taken the form of a street bird, easily keeping pace with the duo but unable to attack. Dylan, seemingly recovered, retrieved her original pace and again caught up to the pair. This time, the younger moved in, wrapping himself around her legs and biting her calves. She screamed, trying to shake him loose, but he refused to let go, no matter how hard she hit.

"Stop!" Sarah commanded, halfway done changing from bird to human. She took the opportunity and dove at the younger, but he simply dodged and let Sarah hit pavement. She rolled, but was out of the fight.

"Hey!" Ema panted, having teleported to the fight, "You can't do that to my friends!" She stood tall, taking careful measure to keep good posture, but she instead ripped her shorts.

No matter, Ema thought, I can't just let them escape! She teleported around the younger as the elder watched him blindly throw punches around himself, hoping to hit her. Ema became aware of him predicting her movements with increasing accuracy as she kicked and punched him. Then, after teleporting behind him, the scrawny boy grabbed hold of her, and refused to let her go.

"Cody!" the eldest yelled, "Enough!" the fight ended abruptly, both sides unwilling to continue for different reasons. To Ema's surprise, the oldest scolded him.

"That was unnecessary, beating them so badly! They're just kids! Like us!" Cody bowed his head submissively, staring at his shoes. The older walked over to where Dylan lay, crying in agony at the bite wounds. He put his hand on her face, a blue aura surrounded her, and then she was still.

"One bite was enough," he said, moving to Sarah and doing the same, "And next time she does that, just let the impact roll off of you." Cody nodded studiously.

"Are they gonna be okay?" Cody blurted out. His friend smiled, and nodded.

"They'll be fine," he reassured him, laying a hand on his shoulder, "Just take it easy next time." He turned to Ema, busy trying to fix her shorts.

"Take these two back home," he told her, "They'll need to rest." Ema, too scared to continue the fight, nodded vigorously before letting the pair slip away.
