Antonio looked at me shocked; I rolled off him and stared at the sky panting for air; that was it I was done for the day.
"Well done Alice." Eva said proudly as she walked up to us, I sat up and looked around I could see Charles, Ellen and Peter but what about the rest?
"Where is the rest?" I asked Eva as I looked at her confused.
"Some are not done yet." Eva said shortly as she gestured how some of them were still fighting their hunters.
"I hope they get here soon." I murmured; I needed to know that my friends would be passing the evaluation, the more time it passed without them here the more negative points they got.
"Meanwhile you two wait why you don't feed yourselves, you both must be famished." Eva said sweetly before she walked away with my box in her hands.
Antonio got up and looked down at me; I didn't move since my right leg was hurting.
"Need some help?" Antonio asked as he offered me his hand.
I nodded and took his hand, as Antonio pulled me up my right leg gave away and I felt back into the ground trying to hold a scream of pain, but that didn't stop me from wincing and some tears rolled down my face caused by the horrible pain I was feeling.
"Are you alright? Where do you hurt?" Antonio asked me worried as he kneeled next to me.
"I'm fine." I said flinching in pain; I would not give him the satisfaction of knowing that he had caused this.
"Are you sure?" Antonio asked as he eyed me carefully, could he tell that I was lying?
"I think I just twisted my ankle." I said trying to not show the pain in my voice, the last thing I needed was his pity.
It didn't work.
Antonio stared at me for a second before he scooped me off the ground and I yelped surprised, what was this bloody bloke doing?
"What are you doing?" I said alarmed as I looked around, where was he carrying me to?
"I'm taking you to the nurse." Antonio said with a simply shrug as he started to walk to the Academy with me in his arms.
"The nurse is not going to be there; she is probably in the other battlefields or in the forest for the safety of the rest of us in case they get seriously hurt or badly injured so put me down." I said in a snappy tone hoping that this would make him place me back down.
Antonio gave a laugh that nearly startled me, as Antonio carried me I saw Ellen who was glaring at me.
"Since when do people like Alice get to be treated with benefits?" She said in an annoyed tone as she shook her head in disapproval and nudged Peter pointing at us.
"Not again." I said with a sight as I rolled my eyes, Ellen was just like Peter no wonder they made the perfect bloody annoying couple they were.
"Just ignore her." Antonio told me in a low voice.
"I have been doing that for the past six years and it doesn't work." I told Antonio with a sight, this was every daily basis thing for Ellen.
Antonio took me to the nurse where he placed me in a bed.
"Thank you for bringing me here, even when it wasn't necessary." I said as I felt my body relax, I didn't realize how tired I really was until he had placed me in bed.
"Really it wasn't?" Antonio said as he placed his hand on my leg and squeezed it.
I gave a little yelp thanks to the pain and he shook his head in amusement.
