I looked at Mathew shocked, had he just said that?
"What? I can't do that Mathew we all know what the consequences of such action could be." I told him.
Mathew looked at me.
"Exactly, Alice my suspicious is that the Headmistress has let some vampire rebels infiltrate the Academy's ground and are in the ballroom among the other hunters. If you lower the security system until midnight in case of an attack you will be able to fight off the vampires and escape if the situation demands such thing and by doing that you will be able to change the password so no one can access to the original hunter files and erase them because you will need them later." Mathew told me.
I gave a sight.
"Alright I'll do it but only if you swear that those who aren't involve with Nastasia's plans won't be harmed." I told Mathew.
He nodded.
"Of course, Alice no vampire or hunter that is on our side will be harmed, on the contrary you will be saving their lives Nastasia is willing to kill the hunters that won't work for her if that will grant her the power that she wants and it's our mission to stop her from doing such thing." Mathew said.
I nodded.
"Alright, tell me what the password is then." I told him as I looked at the computer screens that were in the room.
I waited for a few seconds but the answer never came, I looked up at Mathew who was still by the entrance at the top of the stairway.
"You do know the password to access the computer's system, right?" I asked him.
Mathew looked at me.
"I was actually hoping that you would know it, the people that have known the password was Jasper, the Headmistress and I; but recently Nastasia changed the password and maybe you could know it." Mathew said as he gave me an apologetic look.
I gave a sight in frustration.
"How the bloody hell am I going to know it? It's even mental to think that I will be able to guess it, they're four digits by the way." I said as I looked at the screen.
"Yes, it's a date. Do you know of any important date for the Headmistress?" Mathew asked me.
I shrugged.
"I don't know but I could try the several ones I can think of." I said before I started to type all the dates I could think of.
I typed in the date when the Association was created, when the Academies were founded, Anna Falcon's birthday well the one that was supposed to be but I knew it was fake, the fake death date of Anna Falcon, Nastasia's birthday, the day she became the director of the Association which was the same day Jasper had been killed but there was nothing, none of them were the correct password.
"Keep trying Alice, we need to find that password." Mathew told me pressing the matter.
"I don't know what else it could be, I'm completely clueless." I said as I looked at the screen.
"It doesn't have to be a date that everyone knows it's important, maybe something that would have to do with you an important date for you or others, something no one could ever guess." Mathew said trying to help.
I glanced at him slightly before I typed in my birthday date December 21st but there was nothing again it wasn't that.
I looked at the screen for a few seconds before I thought in a date, it was a date I would never forget even if I technically couldn't remember it I would never forget it.
