The whole-time Toby was speaking I kept myself silent and nodded when he asked me questions; I was making mental notes about him and his behavior. Could he possibly the Vampire Prince, to me he was just a normal boy but appearances are never what they seem to be, right?
"I see that you're a person of a few words or in your case of none." Toby said as we got off the bus.
"And you are a person with a very fluid vocab." I said speaking for the first time since I got to the bus.
"Are you British?" He asked me shocked.
"Born and raised in the UK." I said proudly with a smile.
"That sure is going to interesting; I never met a Brit before." Toby said meeting my gaze.
"Well consider yourself lucky for this day." I said with a smile and added a small wink.
This was going to be the easiest was to get information from the suspect, they were all male and their weakness were woman so being a little flirt was going to help me a lot. Toby helped me to get to my first class and 'sadly', his words not mine, he had to leave. My first class was Calculus, as I entered the class room with the rest of the students a hand on my shoulder stopped me.
I turned around and saw a tall guy with brown hair and green eyes that almost looked dark like the forest.
"You're new, right? This is the first time I see you here because believe me I will never forget a pretty face like yours." The guy said with a smirk.
"Yes, this is my first day. I'm glad you notice." I said smiling proving to him that I wasn't dazzled by him like I suspected most girls would be.
He was Alaric Thompson or how his friends called him, Ric. He was in most athletic varsity teams, he was the president of the student council, the 3 year in a row winner of the basketball team and he was suspect number two.
"You're a British chic, huh? Nice, not to mention hot, I'm Ric." He said as he offered me his hand.
I took it and shook it.
"I'm Alice. American guy, huh? Nice, not to mention very fit." I said using his same tone.
"I'm glad you also notice that." Ric said with a smirk before he took my hand pulling me to the desk of the teacher.
"Ms. Golden, we have a new student and she is British." Ric told her before he headed to take a seat.
The teacher smiled at me before she handed me a book.
"Most teachers believe in making the new student to introduce themselves too the class making a fool of themselves most of the time or making things up about them. So just take a seat and tomorrow I will bring you anything else that you need for the class." The teacher said as she dismissed me to go to take a seat.
I grabbed the book and took a seat in the middle of the classroom right next to Ric.
"It seems like my charms worked, like always." Ric said with a smirk.
"Your charms worked?" I asked confused.
"Yes, once you met me you can't stay away from me." Ric said with a huge amount of cockiness.
I gave a laugh.
"Please, you should be flattered that I am sitting next to you darling." I said back using the same tone as him once again.
As the class was about to start a girl with olive skin, brown eyes and curly dark brown hair entered, she looked at me and smiled.
"Excuse me but you are in my seat." She said with a huge amount of what is it called, oh yes, bitchiness.
