I cried as I watched the house burn, Ryder, Naomi, Kole, Mason and Jacob my dad where there, they were dead now.

"What's wrong with you Alice?" Charles yelled at me, he was completely confused by my reaction.

"I think the vampires did something to her, just look at the way she is acting." Ellen said as she shook her head in a disapproving way.

Right now, I felt useless, pathetic but manly heartbroken, a few days ago, I had just found my family and within minutes I had lost it.

"Alice please get up, we have to take you back to England." Charles said as he started to help me get up.

"No, let me go!" I said as I struggled on his grip.

"Alice, please don't fight it." Charles said he tried to calm me down.

"You know what the Headmistress said that if she started to fight it we would have to arrest her and take her back to England where she will get punished." Ellen said as she looked at Charles.

I tried to pull away from Charles but I couldn't, then his grip got harder.

"Charles please let me go. You're hurting me!" I said as I tried to free myself.

"Doll, get away from them!" A voice suddenly said startling me.

I looked to my left and saw Ryder who was running from the forest towards me.

"Ryder!" I said before I broke free from Charles's grip.

I ran towards Ryder and wrapped my arms around him.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" I asked him as I sobbed against his chest.

"No, I'm okay." Ryder said reassuring me as I held to him tightly.

"Where are the rest? Where is Mason and my dad, where are they?" I asked him scared.

Ryder turned around letting me see them, both Mason and Kole were walking towards us with Naomi behind them but what I couldn't stop staring was my father who with Mason's help was walking towards me.

"Dad, what happened?" I yelled as I ran towards him, he was badly hurt.

"Be careful." Mason told me as he helped my dad.

"What happened to him?" I asked Mason as I got near them.

"It's nothing to worry about dear." My dad told me but I could smell the blood, his blood and the vervain in his body.

"A vervain bomb exploded and your dad used his body as a shield for Mason and Ryder." Naomi told me.

"I will be fine." My dad told me but as he spoke he winced in pain.

"But you are really hurt." I told him as I met his gaze.

"It's useless Doll, he is just like you when it comes to injuries and admitting that you need help. Stubborn as hell, both of you are." Ryder said as he got near me.

I looked at him.

"That is not true Ryder but take him away before the others can hurt any of you." I whispered at Ryder.

Ryder glared at me.

"We are not leaving you here alone with them, they will kill you." Ryder hissed as he looked back at the hunters with hate.

"Alice, get away from them before they hurt you." Charles said warning me.

I turned around and saw that the three of them Felix, Charles and Ellen had their stakes and a vervain bomb in their hands.
