I looked at her perplexed, had she just say that?

"That is not true." I told her as I shook my head.

"You can believe whatever you want Alice but that doesn't change the truth." The Headmistress said as she walked towards me.

"You look nothing like her, you can't be related." I said as I took a few steps back getting away from her, the Headmistress could strike at any moment.

"We are family you like it or not Alice, why do you think I was your legal guardian and not Eva, they had no choice but to hand you over to me but of course as a future Headmistress why would I even bother to look after an annoying baby girl, I am your aunt but I asked or in more specific words I ordered Eva to take care after you." The Headmistress said as she gave me a small smirk.

I shook my head.

"You're lying; you can't be my mum's sister because she was adopted." I said as I looked at her.

The Headmistress gave a chuckle.

"Of course, she was adopted; she was adopted by my parents who raised her as my sister. She wasn't exactly my blood sister but adoptive." The Headmistress said as she shrugged.

I met her cold brown gaze.

"That doesn't change anything and like I warned you I will hurt you if I must, this doesn't change anything." I told her.

The Headmistress gave a small smirk.

"Actually, it does. I am your legal guardian which means that I can still order you around." The Headmistress said waiting for my reaction.

I burst into laughter.

"You are utterly wrong with that, I will no longer be that little naïve girl that would get so scared just by being looked at by you. I'm an adult now so I can make my own decisions and be responsible for my own actions. And just in case you were wondering I'm no longer under your slothful protection since my dad is back with me I am under his protection meaning that from now on you are no longer my legal guardian." I told her as I glared at her.

The Headmistress stared to walk towards her desk.

"Jacob is here, how is that blood sucking parasite of your father doing?" The Headmistress asked in an amused tone.

"Don't you dare to talk about him like that; you don't have a single right to do that!" I told her in a loud voice, she wouldn't insult my father in front of me.

The Headmistress laughed.

"You barely met him and you're already defending his honor? You are so gullible, so easy to fool and use." She said laughing.

"You called me over for this Nastasia, just to insult me?" I asked her furious.

Nastasia looked at me with a smirk.

"Not at all Alice, I called you over so you could know that the presence of your family and you would be necessary here on Saturday night, it will be the Falcon's ball and I expect the presence of all of you here to celebrate with us." The Headmistress said with her evil smirk.

I gave a scoff; did the Headmistress really think that I would fall for that?

To bring over my family to a ballroom full of vampire hunters under Nastasia's orders, how wouldn't that end up with a funeral of all of us?

"You're mad if you think that I'll even consider your proposal; I won't risk their lives by bringing them here." I told her.

The Headmistress slammed her hands on the desk and looked at me with a dreadful look.
