Suspicious [III]

I looked at Selene.

"Why? Why do I have to go back there?" I asked her confused, it had ended so badly last time so why go back.

"We think that the vampires may have left something important behind now that they left to Russia, the last thing I knew was that they had some problems in the club especially in the V.I.P section." Selene said as she frowned.

"That would be because on the last mission the vampires if the place decided to attack us." I said, it almost seemed like it was an ambush.

"This time you will go alone this way you will be able to concentrate better, you need to go back to that club tonight." Selene said and I cursed mentally.

I looked at her nervously.

"And how can I go to the place without being recognized that is if I'm even able to sneak out of the house without letting the others know, how am I going to do that?" I asked her.

Selene gave a small smirk that made a little fear crept into my mind.

"Eva trained you well, Alice, besides I have a few tricks under my sleeves." Selene said as she pulled out a small bottle full of a red liquid.

"What is that?" I asked her.

She smiled.

"I will be making dinner tonight; do you care to help?" Selene said with a smirk.

I helped Selene make dinner and then she carefully placed the plates of each one of us in our places, after we ate everyone suddenly felt tired so we all headed to out beds.

"You seem very nervous Doll, why?" Ryder asked me as he laid on my bed meanwhile I brushed my hair.

I looked at him and smiled.

"It's not that Ryder, I'm tired I guess it's just the tiredness; not to mention that I'm a bit concerned about Selene being here, Eva didn't seem very happy about her visit." I said before I sat down in the bed facing Ryder.

"She is just worried about her sister. For what you dad said, Selene and the Headmistress have a rough history and they pretty much hate each other." Ryder said as he placed his arm over his face covering his eyes.

I gave a sight and started to trace small lines on Ryder's chest.

"I just hope that they won't see each other, just imagine the mess and amount of problems that would cause to everyone if they ever had a fight. It also makes me think of how the Headmistress could react when she sees me, but I'm sure that I won't be the small girl that would always fear her especially with you by my side, right Ryder?" I asked him as I shook my head, I would no longer be that girl.

I waited for a few seconds but Ryder didn't say anything.

"Ryder?" I asked him.

Then I heard a small snore escape from his lips.

Had he seriously fallen asleep?

I took off his hand from his face and saw that his eyes were closed and that he was indeed asleep.

"Ryder, wake up." I said as I slightly slapped his face.

"You won't be able to wake him up; just like the rest he will be in a deep sleep until three or four in the morning." Selene said as she entered the room startling me.

I turned around and looked at her.

"What did you do to him?" I asked her.

"I slipped them a small portion of Night-sleep in their food, it's harmless but nothing will be able to wake them up for the next four hours, now we only have an hour to get you ready, you have to be at the club by midnight and we have to make you unrecognizable." Selene said with a wicked smile.
