Lately I've been surrounded by people.
It's strange but I kind of don't hate it. But today was different. I thought it was gonna be a normal day but it didn't end up that way.
I ended up meeting someone from my past. I had other friends when I was younger but they always leave me.
Now it seems like their all coming back.

I walked in the hallways beside Haley towards the gym. I was excited because today in P.E. we finally get to play a game. Once we made our way past the crowded halls we arrived at the gym and entered.
"Time for a change in personality." I spoke. Hayley glanced at me with a confused look.
"What?" She said.
"It's time for the me you've never seen before. The me that is worshiped." I clenched my fist as I saw some familiar people in our class.
Ally and her group.
Annoying trouble makers that were with Hayley the first time we met.
And Hayden with his sister.
"Great." I rolled my eyes and continued to walk to the wall.
The coach told us to put out bags by the wall. When it was filled with them we started the game. It wasn't what I hoped for but it still involved dodging.
Capture the Flag.
I stood as close as I could near the "flag" which was only a ping pong ball on a traffic cone. Everyone had a belt that had two detachable tags. If it's pulled you go back to your side of the gym.
"Hey everyone! Look you guys protect the flag and I'll go get it! Got it." A voice said near me. I looked over to see a boy with light brown hair and dark greenish blue eyes. He had on a white shirt with grey sleeves and dark blue jeans. He was standing next to Hayden who currently looked ready to play.
"Heh. Got it but there should be more runners. I got ya pal." Hayden said to the other boy.
"Fine but you guys better protect this. Ladies." He winked at the girls and they either laughed or didn't respond. I just rolled my eyes and moved further away from him in disgust.
'I feel like I'm gonna hate this guy.'
"Go Candace!!" Hayley and Hayden's sister yelled from across the gym. I looked at the other team. Ally, and Maye where on he other team as well as the other boys.
The whistle blew and The other team ran right across the boundaries. I stood my place and yawed. I walked near my other teammates who were protecting the flag.
"Time for B.E." I smiled as I quickly ran towards someone that was coming this way. I became like a wild animal. I glared and he stopped. It was one of the boys that I met on open night.
"Oh no. I forgot about you."
"Heh. Guess who's back?" I lunged forward and grabbed his tag even though he tried to doge me.
A few other players ran for the flag but my team was doing a good job at getting them. Out of the corner of my eye I see someone slowly walking against the wall.
I looked to see it was Maye. I faced her and she quickly saw that blocked her. "Hello Blue Eagle." She spoke then ran for the flag. I caught up to her and pulled her tag as she was a few inches from grabbing the ball.
"Purple Falcon." I glared.
"Heh. It's been two years since we've gone face to face.
"NO GET THEM!!!" I heard Ally yell. I looked to see Hayden and the other boy running back with the other team's "flag".
"GO! COME ON YOUR ALMOST HERE!!" Others cheered as they crossed the halfway point I jumped.
The whistle blew and our team won.
"Great job Blade!" Hayden patted the other boy on the back. I looked back to see Maye was back to the side lines. I walked over to them. It looked like they were friends. I had to make sure he wasn't a bad influence.
"Hey Hayden." I greeted.
"Oh Candace! Your on my team? I didn't realize. Sorry." He laughed.
A girl passed us. "You guys are lucky you have the Blue Eagle on your team."
Hayden looked at me with a confused look. "Blue what?"
"It's a story for another time. Anyways who's this." I gestured towards the boy.
"This is Bade Ranalt. But he likes to be called Blade."
The boy shook my hand. "Long time since I've seen you up close Eagle. I noticed you and the Falcon where at it again."
"Wait you know me?" I raised an eyebrow. We lined up for the next round of the game.
"Heh. You should know me. I was your rival two years ago. And I was one of your friends in second grade. You should hate me."
