It's the last day of Christmas break. My school is probably the only one on break because most schools started this week.

I wanted to spend this day relaxing....but noooooo!!! My parents just wanted to go do crazy things!!

We went to the mountains...in our jeep with a few of their friends. They have this hobby of going four wheeling once every month. The first time I went was a few years ago.

That day I drove one all by myself....and almost crashed.

Since then I've only gone with them twice.. and that's because I didn't have a choice.

Well today was different. We weren't four wheeling. My mom said it's 'jeeping' which is a lame name for it but I don't know what else to call. Let's just say I don't feel good about this.

"Can we just go home so I can go to sleep?!?! Because you guys stress me out!!!" My parents ignored me and they followed the other jeeps to a high hill.

"Oh no no no no!!! WE ARE NOT GOING THAT WAY!!" I looked up to the hill. It was almost vertical the way I saw it. The cars made there way up the hill as I prepared for the car to slip and go backwards. I felt empty and my headache didn't make me feel better.

The car jolted backwards and I felt my heart stop. Luckily we didn't go down the steep hill.

Once we made it to the top I felt relived..

...until I saw the way down.

It seemed steeper. If that was even possible. "Why do you guys do his to me?!" I felt like fainting. My little sister was next to me and I was holding her back to her seat while she just looked panicked. She wasn't as scared as me, but that's because she doesn't know!

"Ok just down this hill it's the last one." My dad said. He followed the other jeeps down the hill slowly. I could hear the rocks underneath us sliding along with us. I was shaking. I honestly don't see how this is 'fun'.

Once we made it down I let out my entire breath. I noticed I had been griping the handles tightly. I let go but my hands just went back to the same position.

"We're gonna stop for a while take her outside to play with Alan and Eric." My mom said as they both stepped out of the car. I undid my little sister's seatbelt.

"Ba!" She slapped me with her small hand. I laughed and she smiled without her front teeth. She's been like that since she was only one.

We stepped out of the jeep and my sister runs to her friends.

"Hi Lana!" Alan said to her. She greeted them both and they started running around.

"Didn't expect to see you here." I heard behind me. I turned to see my old friend.

Mazin.

Why in the world is she here?!

"Um..Hey." I avoided eye contact. I remembered she had given me the two crystals that are currently in my pocket.

"Can we talk?" She asked. I nodded and followed her deeper into the forest. She was wearing something she used to wear. A plain mint shirt, blue jeans and brown leather boots.

"Look Candance. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left you behind. I should have chosen to be friends with you instead of them. They honestly aren't that fun." It was strange hearing her voice after so long.

I nodded still avoiding eye contact.

We both suddenly turn our heads at a sudden loud scream. I run back to the jeep only it wasn't where it was. It was now on the brink of falling down the hill.

"Really?! You went back up?!" I yelled to them.

The kids were still down here but I told them to move out of the way to where Mazin was standing.

'Wendy can I do anything?' I waited a few moments, but as soon as a cold breeze blew she spoke.

'I'm not sure. Try levitating it like the branch.' I looked back to see everyone looking in my direction.

'Ugh! I can't they'll see! If I leave they'll obviously know! Even if they are mostly 3 or 4.'

'Use your eyes then. But it is much harder so you might..faint.'

'I'll take the chance.' I ran back to the small group of kids and Mazin.

"Oh no! What if those pebbles start an avalanche?" She stepped forward.

"They won't." I blankly said. "Stay back everyone."

Inside the jeep my dad was trying to drive upwards. But every few inches it went up it would go down a few feet closer to the edge of a small hill filled with trees that could cause damage.

I placed my fingers between my eyes and felt the energy inside me as I did before. I looked directly at the jeep and directed my energy towards it. While everyone was looking at the jeep I could feel the back of my head pounding with pain.

"C'mon. Just go up the hill." I said out loud. As I did the jeep started going up the hill slowly. The energy was fading right before it was safely at the top.

A sharp quick pulse went throughout me but I held it in. I had to stop. The jeep jolted backwards and started going backwards down the hill.

"MOM!! DAD!!!" I yelled. I pushed everyone back further into the forest. I could hear them screaming inside. I...had to do something...

I closed my eyes tightly while my hands burned. It was too late.. they saw it so I can do something now.

I looked back to the jeep and held my hands out to see the car stop. I slowly moved them to the bottom safely.

I took deep breaths and fell to my knees.

It's over...
