"Um Candace? Where do you sit..?" Mazin asked in the entrance of the cafeteria. I continued walking, knowing that'd she'd follow.

"Over here." I saw Hayley already sitting there with her blue lunch box she saw me, then immediately saw Mazin. Her face wasn't the best.

As we sat down I told Mazin to sit across from us, because it'd be easier to talk that way. "Hayley, this is Mazin Alimar. Mazin, this is Hayley Fawn."

At first Hayley didn't say anything, Mazin spoke. "Um. Hi, nice to meet you. I used to be her old friend, thanks for taking interest in her."

"Interest in her?" Hayley's blue eyes looked different. I didn't ask why though. "More like she took interest in me." She laughed.

I quickly looked to her with a questioning look. "What?"

"Remember? You helped me out with the boys who were bothering me."

"Oh yeah..but I would've done that for anyone. I hate it when boys try to be nice to girls. Being silent for a few years means your hearing skills improve, and I hear boys talking about girls they think are cute or pretty. It's disgusting, but the information I get can be pretty useful for blackmail." I smirk.

I look up to see Hayden and Blade coming to sit down, along with Bella and a few of her friends. 'Ugh. Why can't it just be my friends.' I don't like Bella's friends. They're taking her away from us, and she's not realizing it.

Hayden sat next to me. "Hey Candace. Wait..." He noticed Mazin. "Isn't this one of our popular girls? What's she doing here?"

"She's-"

"I left them." Mazin cut me off. "I decided I didn't want friends like them. It took me so long to realize that my true friend was right about them." She smiled.

Blade sat next to Mazin. "Well hello miss Alimar." All of us looked at him with a shocked and confused face.

Already annoyed I said, "Blade. Sit next to Hayden please."

"Wow. I think that's the first time she spoke to me! I'll surely do that!" He slid his lunch next to Hayden and sat next to him. I rolled my eyes at what he said. I guess it was the "first" time in this world.

"Okay anyways. Do you guys think you'll be free after school for a few minutes?" I said towards Hayley and Mazin.

Mazin shook her head. "Nope. My dad likes us to leave as soon as the bell rings. Remember he's a teacher."

Hayley took a bite out of her sandwich. "Why do you wanna meet after school?"

"It's...important." I said, hesitant to say the truth.

Blade cut in. "Why are you leaving us out?"

Hayden elbowed him. "Hey. Leave them alone. I know what your thinking and it's not a good idea." He glared.

I sighed then continued."Ok so if we can't meet after school...then..we'll just have to talk before lunch ends."

As the minutes passed I kept an eye on the clock. Hayley and Mazin didn't seem to be excited about each other, and I understand why. Hayley hates people as much as I do, especially popular ones. Mazin must be jealous of Hayley, because she became close to me.

Once it was 1:10, I told them to follow me. I lead them outside, behind the school. While they kept asking questions, I took my backpack and quickly looked through a small pocket.

Hayley looked around with a worried face. "This..this place brings back a bad memory."

I continued grabbing a few rocks and sorted them out. Mazin asked, "Bad memory?"

I finally stood up with the rocks in my hands. They looked at them confused. "It's because you almost died." I said.

Both of them looked at me with wide eyes. "H-How did you know?" Hayley took a step forward.

"I was the one that saved you."

"...what...wait. Your the-"

Mazin finished her sentence. "Fairy.." I looked to her surprised she figured it out easily. I nodded.

"You! You're the-!? You're a fairy?!" Hayley continued to babble on. I opened my hands and the rocks and crystals I had collected over the years, were shown.

"These are special. They hold magic energy. Certain ones are for strength, or luck, or even just for a clear mind. But some are for elemental powers." I paused. Hayley started to look through her bag.

"What are you doing?" Mazin asked.

She didn't say anything, but she later found a brown gem. She held it carefully. "I found this one night in the forest. It glowed and I heard voices telling me to help someone. Then when I ran, this woman...dressed in a dress made of plants gave me a liquid and told me to help someone. A fairy." She sighed. "I found you, and poured it on your scar. A few moments later you woke up."

"Wait." Mazin spoke up. "I had a similar experience with me being with other people. It actually happened the other day. To sum it up, a man and woman told me to get a crystal from you."

I nodded. "Okay, but Hayley I need you to give me your gem." She placed it in my hands along with the others. I knelt down and spread them out in a circle. I then placed a clear crystal in the middle.

"I've never done this before, but I saw it in my dream last night." I stood up and motioned them to come forward.

Once we made a triangle I made them hold their hands out to the center. I took out my pink crystal and held it in my hand. "Here we go..." I sighed.

I held it out to the center with one hand. And with the other, I focused my energy on the clear crystal. My head hurt, but I continued to focus. I closed my eyes and felt the crystal become warm.

I opened my eyes to see a thin pink ray shooting from my crystal to the crystal on the ground. Hayley and Mazin watched in awe. The light then reflected off the center to two other crystals.

Hayley's gem started glowing red, and one aqua crystal glowed a bright blue-violet. The light died down and I reached down to the charged crystals. "I can't believe it worked.."

I handed them their crystals. "Hayley. You care for nature and your personality is perfect for this power. Do you accept to be the Fairy of Nature?" She nodded.

"Mazin, your emotions are like the movements of water. They're slow and calm, and sometimes wild and deadly. You have a spiritual connection towards this element, and it is your destiny to hold this power. Do you accept...again?" She nodded as well.

We all looked at each other.

"What now?" Hayley asked.

"We go through training." Mazin answered. "I remember."

Just then I remembered something.
'But it's time you train four other girls to be like you.'

"There's no time for training. The only time we have is in summer."

"What?!" They both yelled.

"Yes. And I'm afraid that my job isn't done..."

"What do you mean?" Mazin asked.

"I mean that there's two other girls we have to find."
