"Colors"

Yellow, like the happiness I felt when I first met you

Silver, like my necklace; a sign that our friendship is true

Orange are the countless sunsets we watched together

Pink my face went when you said "be mine forever"

Red is for the undying love the both of us shared

Red like our hearts, eternally paired

Time passed and our love grew

It glowed with colors of a thousand hues

But then you grew tired, and your heart turned to black

And I knew your heart's color was never coming back

I cried tears of blue when you found someone new

And my whole world turned gray the day I lost you
