Words are the most powerful weapon of all
There'd be no need for blood to shed
One simple word could be your fall
Hidden meanings fill you with dread
Words cut deeper than any knife
It hits harder than sticks and stones
It sticks with you for all your life
It heals longer than broken bones
Words leave bruises not seen by eyes
It creates scars that do not bleed
Each sentence could be filled with lies
You'd be fooled without any heed
Each harmful word's a heavy weight
Each syllable a painful rush
It leaves behind an acrid taste
It kills without a single touch
Words send one's life in dissaray
Forever a brand on one's mind
So take caution in what you say
Once it been said, there's no rewind
