You have managed to form intelligible words and organize them into a sentence. The man looks you up and down once more, then sighs and sits on a nearby boulder.
"I've just come down from the Sichuan dragon's cave," he begins. "My town has suffered from the drought and three of our people have already attempted the trip; none of them have come back. I'm our town's last hope. And I haven't found the rain."
"What do you mean?" you ask. He shakes his head.
"The dragon is in there, but he's... I don't know. Asleep. I haven't found a way to wake him. And I think he's had problems. I don't know anything else. Maybe you can try and wake him - or figure out what's wrong."
"Did you find anything interesting at all?"
"Nothing I'd show a perfect stranger."
"Is there anything you can tell me, then, to help me out?"
"Look, you go on and see what you can find. I'm on my way to the city of Hangzhou, there is a wise woman there who might tell me more. If you find anything interesting, come meet me there. Her name is Mei Mei, she has a boutique in the West District."
You nod and make way for him to stand once more. With one nod of his head, he starts again down the path. You watch him go, then go on your own way - up the mountain and to the dragon's cave. Go to Chapter Seven.
