As soon as your hand closes over his, you feel pulled forward, as if someone had grabbed your ribcage and was tugging on it. The world dissolves around you and you are sucked into a great whirlwind. Just before you puke, everything stops.

You are in the dark, but your eyes grow used to it quickly. Beside you is the great empty husk of the Sichuan dragon. You are back in his cave.

You go around him and reach the pedestal. There, you blow away most of the dust. At last, you place the pearl back in its socket.

A blast of air throws you backward: the dragon has awakened! His breath feels like a storm in the confines of the cave, every movement of his feels and sounds like a hurricane. By the time you get up again, he has turned around. His great head is before you, his deep silver eyes staring straight into your soul.

You are petrified, glued to the spot. When the dragon bows his head in thanks, you can barely believe it.

The great beast turns once more and lumbers to the entrance of his cave and you follow. There, he raises his head to the skies... and launches himself toward the heavens, flying off at breakneck speed, until he is but a speck in the darknening skies.

When you finally step outside the cave for good, the falling rain drenches you to your bones.

Congratulations!

You have finished this adventure and undone the Monkey King's evil plot for immortality. Give yourself a nice big pat on the back!

If you enjoyed this book, please leave a little star here (allows me to know how many readers have made it!), or at any part that you've particularly enjoyed. I would also love to hear how you got here: which class of character did you choose to play? What choices did you make along the road? Did you kill or incapacitate the Monkey King? What was your character's name? Don't hesitate to leave a little comment!

Thank you very much for staying till the end - and for saving the region of Sichuan from the drought.
