Just Another Day

Chapter 20

Mitch's POV

Tears piled up in my eyes as I blew Lilac a kiss, she blew one back. Boiling hot tears feel down my cheeks. I saw Jenny hug Lilac. I started to walk forward but Jerome grabbed me and threw me into the car and sped away.

"Why did you do that?!" I asked angerly.

"You can't stop her, she needs to go. That's like Lilac's second mom." Jerome replied.

Tears where falling down my face, we were almost home. I wiped the tears from my eyes but more spilled out.

"You need to stop crying, you'll make me cry." Jerome shouted.

"I can't!" I yelled burying my face in my hands.

After a while of silence Jerome muttered, "Sorry Mitch. I'm just as sad."

"It's ok Biggums."

I lifted my head from my hands and got out of the car. We walked into the house. I walked up to my room.

*ding* I got a text from Lilac, it was a picture of her. I sent one back. Duke was on my lap.

*ding* she said she missed me. I told her I missed her more.

We texted until she had to go. After she said goodbye I laid on our bed. Duke curled up beside me. I decided to be productive and record some Hunger Games, Dinosaurs, and Pixelmon. We recorded for about 3 hours.

"BIGGUMS!! IM GOING TO BED." I yelled. I was done for the night, it was like 4AM.

"OK! NIGHT!" Jerome yelled back.

Adam had gone with Alesa to her place. I was just Jerome and I.

I laid down in the cold bed. Duke took Lilac's place. I petted his back. He licked my face.

"Love you Dukey."

Duke curled up by my feet. I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep good, but I fell asleep anyways.
