Chapter 40 (Last Chapter)

Mitch's POV

-- Dream --

All I hear is yelling from the other room. Jerome was talking to Lilac.

"TELL ME!" Jerome yelled. He slammed her against a wall.

"I CANT TELL YOU!" Lilac yelled back. There was a loud smack.

"TELL ME AND I'LL LET YOU GO." There was another slam.

"JEROME! IF YOU SLAM HER OR YELL AT HER AGAIN I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" I ran into Jerome's room.

"SHE NEEDS TO TELL ME FIRST!"

I smacked Jerome and pushed him onto the bed. I grabbed Lilac's arm and we ran out and into our room. I locked the door.

"LET ME IN MITCHELL!" Jerome banged on the door.

"JEROME ROBERT ACETI! LEAVE THEM ALONE!" Jenny yelled.

"NOT UNTIL THEY TELL ME!"

-- Dream Over--

"Wake up baby." Lilac said, running her fingers through my hair.

"I just had the worst dream ever." I said sitting up.

"What was it about?" Her face was concerned.

"Jerome was hurting you because you wouldn't tell him about, you know." I said gesturing towards her belly.

"Oh," She stood up. "I have an appointment to find out how long I've been and to see the gender, thinking of names ya know?"

"I'll come." I said, standing up as well.

"Ok, it's at 11. So we'll eat, get ready and go. Jenny may go too."

We walked downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Hey." Jerome said. I saw Lilac glare at him.

"Hey Biggums." I replied.

Lilac and I sat down to eat the waffles Jerome had made. After we are breakfast we both went upstairs and got ready. We walked over to Jerome's room. Lilac knocked on the door.

"Come in!" Jenny said.

Lilac opened the door. "You coming?" She asked.

"Yeah let's go."

-- The doctors office --

"You have been pregnant for 3 months now."

I threw a smile at Lilac.

"The gender?" I asked.

"It's a girl from what I can tell."

"Yay!" Lilac squeaked.

"A little baby girl." Jenny said.

"My two girls." I said.

-- An Hour Later --

"I'm so tired." Lilac said, plopping down on the bed.

"Let's take a nap." I said pulling her back.

"I want to ask you something first." She said turning to face me.

"What?"

"You know how I said I didn't want a child yet?"

"Yeah."

"I've been thinking, should we just put her up for adoption?" She whispered.

"No! We couldn't! She'd be our first, we can't just get rid of her!"

"Ok! Sorry for bring it up. I just feel like it's to early to have a baby." She curled up beside me.

"I know you think it's to early, I kinda do too. But if we put her up for adoption we'd regret it."

"True."

I put my arm around her waist. I stared at the ceiling. Thinking about us having a baby. I wanted one. But I didn't.
