Just Another Day

Chapter 38

Lilac's POV

Jenny, Tiffany and I were sitting on the couch, watching TV and eating lunch.

"So you really were underage drinking?" Tiffany asks me.

"I don't know. I don't remember anything to be honest."

"What do you remember?" Jenny asks.

"I remember some of the day we left for the hotel and the wedding. I don't remember what happened after the after party."

"This is insane." Jenny says shaking her hand.

"I'm just confused." I said, taking a bite of my baloney sandwich.

"You should probably go home. Mitch is probably really worried." Tiffany suggested.

"I could but I don't want to have all the guys be mad at me for not telling them." I stood up from the table and started to walk around her house.

"Let's go home." Jenny grabbed my arm. She snatched up our bags and we walked out the door. "Bye Tiffany!"

Within minutes we were home. The front door swung open. Mitch ran to the car. He pulled me out, picked me up and spun me around twice. He set me back down and gave me a kiss.

"I missed you." He said. His eyes were red.

"You couldn't of missed me that much."

"Well I did." He dragged me into the house. Leaving Jenny to get the bags.

"You go upstairs and I'll get your bag." He ran back out.

"Why did you leave?" Adam asked.

"Why are you so nosey?" I crossed my arms and walked upstairs, Mitch right behind me.

We walked into our bed room. I sat down on the edge of the bed. Mitch sat down next to me.

"Don't leave like that ever again." Mitch said, rubbing my back.

I leaned over to lay on his sholder. "I'm tired."

"Let's take a nap then."

Mitch crawled over to his side of the bed. I crawled over beside him. He wrapped his arms around me.

"I love you." He whispered in my ear.

"I love you too." I mumbled back.

-- 2 hours later--

I awoke with Duke by my side and Mitch gone. I threw my self off the bed and ran downstairs. I was still in my pajamas, like I was when I left this morning. In the kitchen I find Mitch making dinner. Cheeseburgers and onion rings.

"Mmmm. Smells good." I said walking up beside him.

"Thanks." He said, handing me a plate.

"I SMELL FOOOOOD!" Jenny came running downstairs.

"My food!" I snapped.

"Gosh! Fine!" She had her hands up and was slowly backing away.

Mitch and I got our food and sat down by the pool. After we ate we ran upstairs to get our swimsuits on. We same until the moon was high.
