Lilac's POV

I take a look in the mirror before walking down to the beach. I pat my hips, spin around and mess with my hair.

"Come on." Aurey said pulling on my arm.

"We need to go, it's almost 6:30." Jenny said, starting to walk out the door.

"Ok, ok, calm down." I said waving my hands in a downward motion and walking towards them.

We start to walk out the door. Jenny's dad behind us. I start to sweat because I'm nervous. I stop walking.

"Lilac, come on!" Tiffany yelled.

"I-I-I can't." I started to turn around but Jenny's dad stopped me and faced me the right way.

"You can do this, mom would be proud of you." Jenny said, putting her hand on my shoulder.

Her dad winced at the sound of mom.

"I know she would be proud, but I'm just emotionally unstable right now." I said shaking my head.

"Come one Sammy, we need to go." Jenny pulled on my arm, it had been forever since she called me Sammy, that was my nickname when my name was still Samantha.

"Why are you calling me Sammy?" I asked.

"To get you focused, now let's go."

"Ok." I said. Taking a deep breath, then walking forward.

We walked down to the beach, I saw people in their seats, the guys standing in perfect order, Mitch looking for any sign of me. I almost broke down into tears but I held them back. The music started. Best Day of my Life by American Authors came on. Slowly Aurey walked down the isle. My wedding was different, the girls and guys walked by themselves, I was the only one being taken down by someone. Aurey threw some flowers down as she walked. Now Tiffany, throwing flowers aswell. Jenny walked down, like the other two, throwing flowers. Finally, it was my turn. The music changed, A Thousand Years by Christina Perri came on.

"It's time." Jenny's dad whispered.

He held out his arm, I took it. We walked to the isle, it was perfect. The sun was setting. Flowers were beautiful. I saw Lydia, in light blue, holding Lily, who was in purple, in the front row. I saw Mitch's parents and siblings. I saw my aunt. I saw my friends. I saw Red, Tiffany's husband. I saw all the guys, lined up perfectly. I saw Mitch, who's eyes were filled with tears. I couldn't stand seeing him cry, I started to cry, lightly, not flooding.p, at least not yet. We walked, small step by small step down the long, sandy isle. We got to the very front, the pastor said:

"Who gives this young lady, to this young man?"

"I do." Jenny's dad let go of my arm. Mitch took my hands.

Jenny's dad walked over to sit down by Lydia.

"This afternoon, I will be uniting these two in marriage."

The pastor went on and on.

"Do you, Mitchell Hughes, take Lilac as your beloved wife, through sickness and health, through poor and through wealth?"

"I do." Mitch tightened his grip on my hands.

"Do you Lilac Sherman, take Mitch as your beloved husband, through sickness and through health, through poor and through wealth?"

"I do."

"Your vows? Mitch you can go first."

"Ever since we were little kids I knew I would marry you. We loved each then, and still do. All those tough years we were apart, I was surprised we stayed in contact. We made it through. We started dating. I fall in love all over again every time I see your face. I want to be with you forever until the day we die."

"Lilac, your turn."

"I've loved you even since we were little. I remember when I moved you gave me an old ring of your moms, told me you loved me and gave me a kiss. Ever since then I knew it was meant to be, and it became more and more clear as the years pasted. I fall in love over again when I see you. You are my all. You deal with my crazy emotions and I don't know how you do it. I know I can be forgetful sometimes but I know for sure I want to be with you for the rest of my life."

"You may now kiss the bride."

Mitch pulled my close and gave me a long, meaningful kiss. One that was like when I moved. One that was like when we blew each other one through the internet. One that was like when he came to Arizona to surprise me. One like the day we moved to the TeamCrafted house. One that was like when we were on the beach. One that was like when we were in the pool. One that was like when he proposed to me. One that was like we had put seen each other in years. The small crowd clapped. I tired to pull away but Mitch kept pulling me back in.

Jerome tugged on Mitch's suit. "Come on, hurry up." He whispered.

Mitch let me go.

"I now pronounce you Mr and Mrs. Mitchell Hughes!"
