I tuck her in and crawl into bed, I hear Joel down stairs but he's talking with someone.. or himself. I get out of bed and tip-toe so I don't wake up Ana. I walk into the hall way a this is what I hear, I hear Joel crying..
I walk down the stairs and walk into the room he is in, I look at him and he looks up and wipes away his tears. "You need somethi-" I didn't waste time, I ran into Joel's arms and kissed his lips, I let go and look at him. He looks at me and then kisses me back, I truly missed him. "I miss you.." I say and look him in his eyes, "I miss you too" he sighs and hugs me. "Promise you will never leave me..? Again?" he says softly, "Forever and always." I say. I cuddle close to him and I close my eyes knowing that Joel and I are okay.
