I sigh, "I'm sorry. I need to go. Joel and I got in a fight. He's not happy with me." I say to Kyle. As I push past him he grabs my arm. I look at him abs sat something I have wanted to say for a while. "Kyle.. I'm not in love with you. I'm sorry. You are my best friend and I love you dearly, but not in that way.". He nods. As I am about to walk out he door I hear a voice calling after me, Joel.
"Liz, wait." He yells after me. "I'm sorry Joel.. I love you and only you.. I can't live without you." He walks out and pulls me in an embrace. "I'm sorry Kyle, I will talk to you later." I walk inside my house and hug Kyle goodbye. He walks out and closes the door.
I walk upstairs with Joel and Ana. I walk slowly in Ana's room and put her in her crib. "Love you sweetie." I say to her and kiss her forehead. I look over to Joel, he pulls me into a kiss. I kiss back. I wish we were always like this. We got into our room and I fell on the bed, I was extremely tired. "Joel, I love you." I say to him. "I love you too Lizzie.". I close my eyes and fall asleep.
