after the dinner arthur take me back to cedi's apartment, he also knows that I am living with cedi but he doesn't know that I am just his sex mate. Above all who cares im just a friend.

I unlock the door and open it slowly. I found him on the couch watching tv, no cut it fall asleep is the right word. He hug a hotdog pillow, he only wears a sleeveless t'shirt for boys and a boxer. He look like a kid who's waiting for his mother. I went to the room and grab a blanket and went back to the sala and cover him with it.

I didn't wake him up so I sleep on the bed alone. I need to get used to it because someday he'll just leave me. I closed my eyes and in a matter of second my phone beeps.

"still awake milady" it was arthur

"well I just tried to close my eyes but then you texted me so it's wide awake" I replied

"oh, im sorry for disturbing you, I just wanted to ask if did you get in in the apartment or still in the outside deciding whether to in or not"

"like I texted earlier I am about to sleep and by the way thank you for treating me tonight, I promise to make it up to you" send

"don't mind it, it's my duty to make you happy kath" a smile escape into my lips as I read his message, arthur never fails to make me smile.

"see you tomorrow then art, goodnight"

"see you too, goodnight and sweet dreams kitkat" I wanted to ask him where did he get that name but my eyes were to tired to open and send another message maybe I'll ask him tomorrow.

I wake up early and smell the sweet scent of a pan cake, I sniff it and walk to the kitchen though I knew who cook it but I was still surprise when I saw him not with a smile but with a horrific look.

I turn around but the sound that he makes from the coffee that he sips makes me turn back to him and give him the 'what is it now' look.

"who's arthur?" he asked, his voice is in an angry tone

"my boss" never looking at his way

"what did you do last night?"

"he treat me a dinner and nothing more" I lied coz it's me who ask him out

"why did you called him?"

"are you an investigator?" I ask sarcastically

"look kath, whatever is your connection with that arthur guy I want you to cut it!" he said it as an order not a plea

"and who told you to decide what's good for me? and what will I do?it looks like I was the criminal here eh when in fact you're the one who made a crime last time! and of course who am I to make you ask permission to where you will go, right? I am just a friend that made you accept the sex mate thing, right again? and before I forgot I saw you in a hotel last time." I walked away to the table and went to the bathroom. I left him there with a jaw on the ground he didn't even had a chance to interrupt me from talking.

And now it is clear to me that he is a selfish man. He wanted to be my world but I am still here hanging in a thread, don't know what to do next. I spent one hour in the bathroom and just went out side when my anger subside.

I saw cedi at the bed lying at his back, watching the ceiling. I just went to the wardrobe and change to my uniform. I didn't say goodbye to him and walk out the apartment. I let put a sigh and drop all the worries I feel right now and head to my work.

"kittykat!" I know that voice even the name that he called me, I turn to see my boss waiting at the highway riding on his car.

"let's go together" then he went out to his car and opened the door for me before he went back inside his car.
