"good morning alonzo" mr. arthur greeted me with a cup of coffee on his hands
"oh, good morning too sir" I stand straight when I heard him
"how was your dinner with the guy?" he sit in front of me looking straight in my eyes
"oh please sit" pointing his hands on my chair

"how did you know?" trying to sit properly
"well I just knew" he responded

"its nothing mr. arthur, the guy was just my new found friend" I said trying to sound casual though im nervous inside.

how did he know that I was on a dinner with cedi last night? did he pay for a private investigator? or he paid cedi to be my friend? which is which? Mr. arthur is a private man, he doesn't want anyone to know his background, he's a silent type of a guy, he doesn't even talk to anyone in the company, except for this past days.

a cough bring me back to my senses,
"so you're trying to say is you got bored and decided to look at our ceiling,am I right kath?"

"no sir, im just wondering if a guy asked you for a dinner does it mean he likes you?" I ask him pulling my shirt

"hey don't pull your shirt it might loosen" he chuckled under his breath

" don't be embarrassed to ask questions kath, im your boss"

"and because you are my boss, I felt embarrassed asking you coz I don't even know you and you are my boss" I mumble

"kath have you been in a relationship?" my eyes widen at his sudden question, he then nodded when he saw my facial expression

" so your nbsb (no boyfriend since birth), well then good luck" he then got up and turn his heels on the door.

damn! he knew that I am a nbsb! I got caught because of my reckless expression on my face, damn this face, damn this life.
I got up from my sit and walk back to my desk.

"hey kath, it's been three days since I saw you, how about some catch up tonight?" a text from cedi

" hey ced, yeah I guess it's been a while, a catch up? oh okay, where's the location?"

"good, so see you in a minute then"

"in a minute?" send but he didn't reply
I changed my clothes into a black fit dress, above the knee then I got my sandal suddenly I heard a horn outside of my apartment, I guess it's a signal from him. I ran down the stairs and get my coat.

I saw cedi and a bunch of people with their cars, I look at them with confused face and turn my sight at cedi who wore a black tight jeans, a black v-neck t'shirt and his black converse shoes.

"kathy! hey!" he came closer to me and give me a hug

"so this is the famous kathrine ha" a guy with a blue shirt shouted from the window of his car

"dude, introduce her to us!" another guy said at the same car, he wore a light blue v-neck t'shirt

"later guys, later we need to go now it's already 8 pm!" cedi shouted back at them

I ride on cedi's car which is honda civic that has a black paint, I saw his name on the windshield with a heart below and a name of eli. we travel at least twenty minutes and we stop at a club somewhere in the town. I looked around the club and saw a lot of teenagers atleast 17 is the youngest I think, dancing, drinking and sucking at the boys or girl whom I think their dates.

"loosen up kath, you're safe here" cedi tap my shoulder, I shrug at his statement

"is this your first time?" I nodded as a response
