After I used the comfort room I stopped by into an area that has full of dresses, I planned to buy one since Arthur and I are already here. I walked passed to the small dresses when a man from my back bumped me.

"hey! take it slowly, don't you see I'm pregnant" I said scowling at the guy

"sorry" he said bowing his head. I just looked at him and walked again.

"kath?" I looked around and saw a face of shocked plastered at Cedi's face. I don't know what will I feel. I don't know what to do but I just looked somewhere like I never saw him in a distance.

I turned my back to him and walked again this time as fast as I could.

"wait" he grabbed my arms and let me turn to him. He looked at me from my face down to my stomach.

Cedi's POV

I was in the ladies section looking for a dress for elli's day when I heard a woman's voice scowling into a guy who bumped to her. The voice is so familiar, I went to the area where the voice came from and saw a kathrine alonzo with a big belly. I shook my head because maybe I was just day dreaming but when I opened my eyes again I really saw her looking more beautiful and lively with a baby in her stomach. I called out to her but seemed like she didn't saw me so I ran to her and grabbed her arms.

"you're pregnant?" I asked her, I was truly shocked. She nodded and turn her back again.

"so you're married?" I cope up with her, she walked too fast like she isn't pregnant.

"nope but soon" she replied looking at the dresses.

"is it Arthur?" I asked her, she looked at me the confused looked was written all over her face.

Kath's POV

how dare him to asked me if it's Arthur's child! I told him already about this but he denied the baby! I really want to get angry and slapped him but I also don't want to get the attention of other costumers so I stay calm and resume looking to the dresses.

"if you say so" I just replied suddenly I saw Arthur running in my way. This must be a war.

"what are you doing here?" Arthur asked in angry tone, Cedi took a step back and looked at me with confused

"I was just saying hello to her" Cedi replied still confused he looked to me and back to Arthur.

"don't you dare come near to my fiance or else" Arthur threatened him. Cedi was still shocked but he just went away to the other section without looking back. I let out a sighed and hugged Arthur when I feel his arms wrapped in me.

"thank you" I said

"it's my duty to protect you from bad people hon and his one of them" he guided me back to the baby's section where the things that he bought were waiting for us. We went to the car as soon as we get the things and headed back home.

Cedi's POV

what happened in the mall was confusing, why Arthur react that way and why do kathrine look at me like she just saw a ghost? Do I look like one? I went back home with a dress for Elli, she's now five months pregnant and a baby girl we will call her Elvira Claire, she will be under my name Elvira Claire Buendia Iharra.

I opened the door and saw a sleeping Elli at the couch. She's been sleeping lately and her eyes were glued in the phone or t.v., I put down the shopping bags and carried elli to our room.

Before the day ends a call from one of my friend made me happy, it's been months since I last saw them.

"hello prince Cedi!" kenneth greeted me

"yeah hello ken" I said in bored tone

"I call to inform you that I'll be having my engagement party tonight at the Maria Christina Hotel and I want you and Elli to be there bro! it's a must" he inform.

"what time?" I asked looking at the clock

"eight" he said

" uh huh" I said nodding

"eight sharp bro! don't be late or I'm gonna kill you!" he threatened

"yeah I'll be there don't worry and I won't be late" I said sounding excited

"good to hear, bye" he then hang up. I put down the phone and return to cooking.

Arthur's POV

I didn't know what to do when I saw Cedi talking to her, I feel irritated, angry and sad at the the same time. He doesn't have the right to talk to her after he dumped her and never even bother to asked if she's okay or even his baby!

I've been building his family and we're all happy now, I took all his responsibility though he didn't said it to me or asked for it but I love the girl he hurt and I won't let him hurt her again, I'll bring him to his grave if he ever do it.

Kath and Aleve is my family now and they are both precious to me. I'll make Aleve the happiest kid alive in this planet I'll be his strength, his friend, his brother and his best dad. I won't let any person harm him. I've come to love the baby even if he's just in his mother's womb, I've accepted him as my own and now Cedi will come back and get them back to me so stupid of him if he'll take me easy.

After the incident Kath and I went back home, I let her rest in the room because I know she was sad and exhausted today seeing Cedi in the mall. I don't want her to think about him and what will he do, I need to solve this problem.

"hon? what are you thinking?" Kath asked in her sleepy voice

"nothing, why did you wake up early?" I cupped her face and kissed her forehead

"kenneth called me and asked if I can go to his engagement party" she informed me

"why not, do you want me to come with you?" I asked her

"I declined the invitation" she said

"but why? do you feel sick?" I asked worried

"no, I just don't want to go, I want to stay here with you,I don't feel going out" she said, I hugged her tight. this is what I don't want her to feel being unsure, doubt and hurt and it is all because of Cedi.

Cedi's POV

"brother! thank you for accepting the invitation" kenneth welcome me with an open arms, he looked at Elli and went back to me "let's get in" he said sounding irritated. I don't know why he feel irritated when Elli is around. We walked at the crowd and settle in the big round table. "stay here" he said.

After a few minutes all of our friends came and greeted us but every time they look at Elli they feel uncomfortable and doesn't wanted her. What's wrong?

"hey brother! welcome back I thought you were already jailed at home" mon-mon said hugging me from behind

"who said?" I turn to him smiling

"well you know, you're a father of a baby boy now! sounds like fun eh" I was shocked at his information, a father of a boy? it's a girl for sure because I was there when Elli went to her prenatal. I saw Matthew elbowed mon-mon and jenica shaking her head. What's happening? mon-mon looked at them and suddenly his eyes narrowed, he close his mouth and zipped it, I turn my head to my friends but they were all looking disappointed.

"will you excuse me for a minute?" Elli asked me

"why? don't you feel comfortable?" nicky asked, Elli shook her head and went to look at me, just by looking at her I know what she wanted so I let her go alone.

"why did you do that nick?" I said when I saw nicky roll her eyes

"what?" she said boldly, I just looked at her, it's her engagement party and I don't want to ruin it so let it be. I stayed at the table silently and waited for Elli to come back. After a minutes of being silent suddenly mon-mon seat in front of me and smile, i smiled at him back. I saw jenica made a sign to mon-mon to follow her.
