Kath's Pov

after the confirmation I got from Cedi at the restaurant I told myself it was time to move on and I won't wait for him anymore. I need to stay out of their lives and keep mine.

I and Cedi's friends didn't lose our contacts, we still call and hangout at the same club with the same people, after getting to know them better jenica became my bestfriend.

She wasn't that bad as I think or describe her she's even nice and sweet, I did judge her at the first place and I was sorry for what I did. We always hangout together sometimes she sleeps at my apartment or other way around.

She always tells me her secrets she loves to to joke and go shopping and to my surprise I didn't know she is a daughter of a mayor in one of the City in Manila and they even own a company outside the country.

I was totally a jerk after I know her, she loves to go in every charity that she helps and loves to wait for me outside my work.

and here we are now eating our yummy ice cream at frapella,she loves sweet eh.

"what are you thinking bessy?" she asked and oh our endearment is bessy because we're bestfriend.

"I'm just wondering of how didn't I recognized your attitude the first time I met you" I was holding my spoon pointing at her

"because you are a judgemental bitch!" she made our spoon cling and she touch my head

"that's hurt bessy, you shouldn't have pushed my head"

"I need to, I told you forget about the past, you made the wrong impression okay,you don't need to be guilty all the time" she get a spoonful and lick her spoon

"you're yuck" she put her tongue out and get another spoonful.

"hey how's your hot boss?" she asked her eyes were shinning like a star.

"he's fine and good" I said getting a spoonful

"no I mean I know he courted you and how was it going?"

"well I like him already but I won't say yes to him that easy" I said making my words clear

Arthur is still my suitor and as far as I can see he won't back out or give up on me. After he heard the news of Cedi and I's status he became more persistent in showing his affection on me. He even show it to the staffs in the office, he send me flowers, cakes, chocolates and stuff toys which I like, no denying.

little did I know I like him already because of his sweetness towards me and how he treat me with or without people around. He let me meet his family though we're still friends and also some of his loyal friends he said.

"don't act like a virgin baby bessy, be a tough arthur is nice and he got what you wanted. He's a total hotty" jenica pointing out my advantages if I said yes to Arthur.

"I know but I'm afraid,you know"i looked at my ice cream and play on it

"that is not a toy for you to play with" it's his voice,I turn around and saw Cedi smiling at us, he looked at jenica and then to me.

"oh, hi how are you ced?" jenica started

"I'm fine and good, how about you girls?" she looked to me

"well we're fine too in fact were here dating" jenica trying to help me because she looked at me with a wide eyes that send daggers on me, I smiled to her and looked to cedi

" alone?" I asked cedi

"nope, I'm with Elli" as if she was called she suddenly appeared on cedi's side and cling to his arm like she's a lost child. "oh your done already?"

"yeah shall we?" she said like we're not around

"baby don't you say hi to them?" cedi pointed us and smile

"hi" her voice was plastic really she even waved at us though it was really clear that she was just acting.

jenica and I looked at each other before we smiled to her and acknowledge her presence.

"well be on the other side girls"cedi said as he turn his attention to me

"why don't you both stay here with us it will be nice to be reunited again, right kath?" jenica kick my legs and without hesitation I agreed to her proposal.

"will it be okay?" cedi looked us both

"of course!" jenica said with an excitement voice, I think she was planning something fishy.

Cedi and Elli decided to seat with us because this freaky bestfriend of mine insist that we want them to seat with us like hell I care. They ordered their food and settled at our table.

"so what did you talked few minutes ago that I interrupted?" cedi asked me

"it was..--

"it's her boss" jenica cut my answer and pointed me

"what's with your boss? did he hurt you?" cedi's voice were concern. I feel happy but sad at the same time

"no he didn't" I said looking at him

"he's her suitor and she likes him but she's afraid to tell it to him" jenica butted in

"no im not" I refused

"yes you are" jenica insist I send daggers to her that make her smile grew wider.

"I don't know what is wrong but I found her boss was perfectly fit for her, I mean they looked cute together. He's handsome and lovable, he had the money and good characteristics what are you looking for kath?" she said it with a meaning, I knew she's into something

"why kath?" Elli asked " do you like someone else?" her brows were higher than the mountains

"no, I feel awkward getting in a relationship with someone who's I've been working in a years" I replied hardly

"so?"cedi interrupted

"yeah what's wrong kath? he's been waiting for you in almost how many years, oh my gosh" jenica's eyes became wide like she saw a ghost walking in town

"why what's wrong jen?" I asked her

cedi's brows meet at the center, his hands turn to fist, his jaw clenched and his body stiffed and his partner were looking at someone at my back with her big wide eyes.
