chapter 19

Arthur and I was finally over with our little misunderstanding. He said sorry when I didn't talked to him the next day and he even give me a peace offering. We became close to each other and being happy in the Paris with him is still on going.

After talking to cedi I called him again after five hours I guess and confronted him about the moan  I heard but he denied it and I believe him so we're back to each other's treatments again and I'm still on to him. In the end I don't have the evidence to tell that he really lied to me and we're not in a relationship either.

We will be leaving Paris sooner like Arthur told me just this morning after the last signing of the contracts and right now we're here to one of the country's big wardrobe. In short a shopping mall. Arthur told me that we should enjoy our remaining days here in Paris and took a lot of pictures together in this place.

"what do you think should I choose this red or blue?" I was confused to which will I bought the red tube dress or the blue slit dress. Arthur look at me up and down then his eyes trailed to the dresses

"I'll choose you" he smiled and walk away

"hey, Arthur I want you to choose for me, I can't decide I like the both dresses" he went to stop and turn to me then pointed the blue dress. " do you think it looks good to me?" he nodded and walk away.

we went to the footwear section and got a sandal that matches my dress and our day went on and on until we both got tired.
"want to eat? my treat" I give him a wide smile and cling to his arm

"shall we?" he lead the way as I was clinging on him. we put our shopping bags at the limousine before we entered.

"to a restaurant Mr." he said to our designated driver, the restaurant isn't that far. The driver pull the limousine over to a high class restaurant, we entered the double door a waiter went to lead the way to our table.

another waiter came to our table and give us the menu. I look at the menu but I doubt if I like to eat their food knowing that I am new in this country Arthur took a glance on my direction and I give him a shrugged.

"give us a chopsuey and a lasagna and fish fillet" I closed my menu and look to the waiter who's waiting for my approval, I nodded to the waiter before he walk out in our sight.

"thank you" I said to Arthur who's shaking his head in disbelief.

"nah don't mind, I knew that you are new to this country so of course it will be my pleasure to introduce you to their food here" I smiled at him.

"where will be our next stop then?" I change the topic immediately as I can sense he's starting to be boastful again.

"where do you wanna go princess?" she backfire a question

"sounds like you want me to lead this journey" rubbing my chin like I had my own beard.

"yeah, yeah, if you think so" he said

last day is what they called a shopping spree. Arthur decided to let me shop using his atm so in that case I still have a lot money left in my account. Being his secretary is much more easier than being his body guard except if he's doing this because he likes me and if he really does, the shopping spree will be a big guilt that will hunt me forever. I will be called a human resourceful in that case my reputation will be thrown away sounds not good right.

This day is the part two of our journey in Paris. The Big Escape they say.

"alright captain art, where we'll be heading?" art told me that I shouldn't call him boss right now as we are enjoying our last trip and of course as we are sailing the yacht that we just rented. I offered to drive the yacht since I want to enjoy my day as a driver. yeah you heard me right. I really wanted to drive a yacht ever since I knew it's existence but as you all know I'm a simple woman and my oh so understanding boss let me drive the yacht while he was doing our lunch. quite cute isn't he?

"let stay here for a while we've been traveling this place for half an hour kitty kath" he cut my reverie as he made an order to stop. I went to the top of the yacht and sat down beside him.

"who taught you how to drive kath?" Arthur started the conversation while I was slicing my beef steak

"my papa that was before he died" I replied hiding the pain of talking about my late dad

"he's a good teacher" he said smiling after he drink his lemon juice. I look at him and nodded "yes he is"

"so uhm.... after this driving lessons in yacht" he chuckled "i'll bring you to another world of guns" his voice was scaring me even the way he look me in the eyes but I just smiled at him and tap his head " nice move tom cruise" I arranged my spoon and fork in my plate and stand up and went to the area where I can do my sunbathing.

I heard the move of his feet that came closer towards me "come on kath you should have act like I scared you, many of the girls are scared of guns, aren't you?"

"by what? looking at me? it doesn't even move mountains art and I am not afraid of guns" I replied in-a-matter-of-fact tone to him and putting my glasses on, I heard him saying something but I don't understand it so I didn't mind what he said.

they're coming back to Philippines....

Cedi is on the way again to get kathrine's heart.
