Dear Diary,

Life isn't fair.

I've known that for awhile now, but I think I am finally understanding why it really isn't fair.

It's not fair because it's just the way things are. Like the sun is yellow because that's just the way it is, or that my parents can't leave me alone and let me think or vent to myself because that's just the way it is.

Well I don't like it. Not one bit.

A girl last week committed suicide. Wasn't from my school, didn't know her at all, but the things they said about her at my school, we're just awful. Some people said "who cares" and "she's going to hell". First of all people should care, it could of have been prevented or something. And secondly I know that in the bible I think it says that people who kill themselves go straight to hell, not questioning god or anything, but don't you think that's wrong? I mean isn't sending a person or soul to hell, which no one knows is an actually real place, not fair? That person couldn't bare living, like I do sometimes, or have the most terrible problems that can't even be solved or get a better understanding on. So should that person really have to suffer in hell? I believe in god, but not some of his ways or how the bible states somethings.

Life isn't fair, it wasn't fair to that girl, it sure as heck isn't fair to most including me.

Can't things be fair for everyone?

Love,

Darla
