"An abandoned warehouse!" Magnus shouted. It had been two days and they had no clue as to where to look for Clary. Well until now...
"They're in an abandoned warehouse? Really? I thought it would be a mansion in Idris." Jace commented.
"Oh shut up Jace!" Izzy shouted "What are we doing just standing around? Let's go!"
"I think I'm going to stay here." Magnus said. "That tracking spell drained the last of my energy." He slumped into the nearest chair and closed his eyes.
Isabelle half pushed half dragged Jace through the doors of the Institute.
Once Magnus heard the Institute doors slam shut. He sat up straight. The tracking spell was not difficult at all, he just had to get around a few small wards, but that didn't tire him out.
He made his way to the infirmary where Alec lay wide awake. He looked at the warlock in utter disbelief. "Don't look so surprised to see me." Magnus said.
"I thought you hated me. You could've let me die you know. I was so close..."
"Alexander! Stop talking like that! As if leaving you there was ever a possibility." Magnus stated as if it were obvious.
"Obviously it is a possibility because you did leave me." Alec muttered. "Why are you here anyways?" He asked moving into a sitting position.
Magnus felt like Miley Cyrus had hit him with her Wrecking Ball again and again until he was nothing but a pile of glitter. "I wanted to see how you were doing." He choked out.
"Oh the past couple of days have been the best of my life. I found a girl friend, my baby brother was brought back to life, and my dad is home." Alec said sarcastically.
"I was just asking if you felt any better than before." Magnus controlled his temper.
"I've been stabbed! Was I supposed to be eating ice cream to stop the pain!" Alec was never like this, but for some reason, seeing Magnus reopened old wounds.
Magnus spun around and left the infirmary.
