"Clary!" Jace called. She didn't turn around. She ran into the room she had been staying in and slammed the door. "Clary." Jace knocked "Open up."
Sobs racked through her body. She was so upset, but there was something else. Something that burned within her. Not anger...
Hatred.
She despised her brother for everything he has put her through. Clary picked up her hair brush and threw it at the mirror. It shattered and pieces cut every inch of her hands. "Ahh" She grunted.
"Clary!" Jace panicked. "What was that? Clary!"
"I'm fine Jace." She shouted.
"Let me in. Please." He said through the door. She carefully turned the lock with her bleeding fingers. When he saw, he sat her on the bed and started plucking shards from her skin. She winced. "Clary, I know how hard it is to think about Sebastian, but please don't be so irrational."
"Look who's talking." She muttered. He was right. She was being stupid. She had to focus if she was ever going to rid the world of her evil brother.
After he drew an iratze, Jace looked at her with a crooked smile. "Better?" he asked.
She leaned in and kissed him, slowly and pulled away. "Much better." He smiled.
Hi guys! I decided to update again because this was really a filler. But CLACE! So I thought why not.
I'm pretty sure Sebastian will be making an appearance soon, maybe the next chapter... What do you think?
