Jace and Isabelle were fully dressed in gear and dodging people on the busy streets of New York. An abandoned warehouse, it couldn't have been far. Jace thought.
If Sebastian wanted to keep an eye on them, he'd be close, right? He was getting more worried for Clary everyday. What was Sebastian doing to her?
They must've found it. A warehouse that looked abandoned enough but had fresh footprints at the bottom. Jace pushed open the door.
Clary woke up in an unfamiliar room. She remembered that she was with Sebastian and tried not to throw up.
Then she noticed an arm was wrapped around her. She looked to see it was attached to her psychotic brother. She ran to the bathroom and puked violently.
She looked down and was surprised to see she was still in her clothes from last night. So it hadn't really happened. She sighed in relief.
She got out to see Sebastian still asleep. She had half a mind that said to punch him, but that would cause too much trouble.
She went back down the hall to see the same room with the girl from yesterday. She didn't see anyone in the halls so she walked in.
She closed the door behind her and ran to the girl. Her head shot up immediately but she frowned when she saw Clary. She looked young, maybe fourteen and had runes mainly on her right arm.
"You're a Shadowhunter?" Clary asked.
The girl looked confused but nodded. "And you have a stele?"
The girl looked even more confused if that's possible but said in a tiny voice, "My left back jean pocket."
Clary found it almost immediately. She drew the open room on the girls' shackles and opened the door to see if anyone was coming.
The coast was clear. Except... It couldn't be. Could it? The blonde hair. The swift fast and almost unseen movements. Her eyes must've been playing tricks on her.
But when he caught sight of her, he ran to her. He wrapped his protective arms around her and she hugged back. "Jace?" she whispered.
Hey Shadowhunters!
