Clary noticed that there were a lot of people already on the dance floor. Clary was just going to sit down for a few minutes before she joined everyone.
A woman with brown hair elegantly braided away from her face sat in the corner alone. Clary talked to her for a few minutes until she felt a tap on her arm.
Golden eyes and hair to match his attire smiled down at her. "Would you care to have this dance?"
She blushed immediately and nodded at him. The entire time she never looked away from his eyes as he spun her around the crowded dance floor.
There was another tap on her shoulder, but this time it was the bride followed by the Best Man. Or Best Vampire "May I borrow Clary for a moment?" Jocelyn asked.
Jace nodded and Simon said to him, "You may dance with me. I heard I'm the best in my clan."
"You're the only one in your clan, Daylighter." Jace sneered.
"Precisely." Simon bowed.
Clary laughed as she walked away with her mother through the never ending crowds.
The bride brought her to a door she hadn't seen before and opened it. Sebastian was standing there. "What the hell?!?!?!?" Clary screeched.
She blinked and Sebastian was gone. In his place stood the woman she had talked to before dancing. "What the--" she began.
"Clary," Jocelyn said. "I want you to meet Tessa Gray."
