__________________________In another part of the woods, there was a young princess of another land. Her name was Audrey, and she stood stranded outside her carriage, as the driver tried to fix the broken back, wooden wheel.
"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Princess Audrey asked.
"To be honest, no." The driver answered, "I only drive the carriage, I don't know how to fix them."
She let out a sigh and looked around. All Audrey saw were the trees and leaves. Her parents stayed behind in her kingdom but had arranged for her to marry the prince of their allied kingdom.
"I suppose we'll be late for the Festival?"
"Unless we can find help, then yes."
"Well, I'll go look for help then."
"Are you sure, princess?"
"I can do things on my own. You stay here and try to fix that, while I can go out and find someone to help. If I'm not back before sundown, you can go look for me."
"I'm still not so sure about this."
"Just do it." With that, she walked off in a random direction, in hopes of finding someone to help.
__________________________As Jay walked to his home, he noticed a well-dressed maiden walking alone. She seemed lost, so he approached her.
Audrey continued her way through the woods, trying not to slip on the muddy path. She stopped and looked around.
"Excuse me," A voice said, startling her "are you lost?" She turned to see a man around her age, and he wore ragged clothing.
"No, no. I just need someone to help me fix my carriage?"
"A carriage? Are you some kind of princess?"
"Yes, yes I am."
"Ah, well, in that case, hello princess," Jay said with a bow. "Why would a Royal like yourself be out here all alone?"
"I'm not alone, I'm with you. And what's your name?"
"My name is Jay. And j think I can help you with your problem."
"Really, thank you." She quickly hugged him and pulled him to her carriage. It didn't take very long, and her driver was still trying to fix it. Jay looked at it and looked back at Audrey.
"I can fix this, no problem."
"They'd be great!" She quickly hugged him, then noticed what she was doing. "I, uh, want to thank you for that."
"Your welcome, I'll just to go to my home and get the things I need."
"Where's your home?"
"It's in that tree," Jay pointed out. Audrey and the driver looked and saw a treehouse above them.
"Wow, how'd we miss that?" Audrey asked as they made their way to the rope ladder.
"I used some mud and leaves to make it camouflage into the surrounding."
They climbed up the rope ladder and entered Jay's home. It held all sort of things, which surprised Audrey. Jay went through a few boxes before pulling out a broken part of metal and wood. They walked back to the carriage, and Jay began fixing the broken wheel.
"Where did you get all that stuff?" Audrey asked.
"Some of it belonged to my father when he built me the tree house."
