As the large tree and Giant Woman crashed to the ground, it shook the entire kingdom, again, for a few moments. When all stood still, the giant was gone.
Ben, Audrey, Evie, and Jane quickly ran to the fallen tree. It crushed everything, and the light of the moon still shined. Dude sniffed around the tree, desperately trying to find his master.
"Mal!" Ben called out. "Carlos, Jay, Doug!"
"I'm over here!" They all turned and Carlos and Jay stuck under a few branches. Jane and Audrey quickly ran to them, helping them out of the rumble.
"Where Mal and Doug?" Jay asked as they made it out of the branches.
"They aren't with you?" Evie asked.
"Evie!" They all turned to see Doug climbing out of the tree. Evie quickly helped him, but no one else saw Mal with him.
"Ben! Help me!" They looked around to see where the voice was coming from.
Ben looked around carefully and saw Mal stuck behind a large branch. Ben ran to her and lifted up the branch. She crawled it and all were safe.
"You're all okay?" Mal asked. She had some scratches on her head and her arms, as did Jay, Carlos, and Doug.
"Yes, we are all fine," Jane answered.
"We did it!" Doug exclaimed with a chuckle. They formed a group hug, and all smiled and laughed. When they broke apart, they looked back at the fallen tree.
"Now we can all go home," Ben said.
"What home?" Everyone turned to Carlos, who was holding Dude. "I have no one to take care of me. I can't survive alone."
"And I don't know where my mother or granny are," Jane said.
"I never lived on my own before," Audrey told them.
"My home is gone," Jay said.
"I don't want to go back to my nightmare," Evie said.
"I won't leave Evie alone," Doug said while holding her hand tightly
"The village is destroyed too," Mal told him. "We all have nowhere to go."
Everyone began to think then Mal spoke up, with an idea. "We can stay in the woods until the village is fixed. Carlos, you can stay with us, we'll take care of you. Jane, you can stay with us as well, until we can find your family."
"Can we come too?" Jay asked. "I have experienced living alone, with almost nothing."
"I wish to come too," Audrey said.
"That's alright." Ben said, "Evie and Doug, you can come too if you want."
"We'll be glad to help you all," Evie told them with a small smile.

Ben pulled Mal away from the group, while everyone else helped Jay look for his sword.
"I glad your safe." Ben told her.
"Thanks," Mal responded
"How did you all survive? It's like a miracle."
"Before the tree fell, I quickly looked through the spellbook and found a protection spell. It didn't last long, but it lasted until we all reached the ground."
"So you now have full controll?"
"I still need some practice, but at least I'll be with you." Ben smiled, and so did Mal but frowned again.
