Back at the castle, when Chad looked for the runaway girl, Jay and Audrey walked around the garden after everyone left the final night of the Festival.
"I really do love this garden," Jay said as they walked through the maze of bushes and flowers.
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the reason you love it so much is because it reminds you of the woods."
"You're right." He smiled. When they finally arrived at the secret garden, they spread out a blanket on the grass and laid down, looking at the stars.
"I love the view of the stars," Audrey whispered.
"Me too,"
"How are your parents?" Jay asked,
"When I return back to my home, I'll have to marry to another kingdom."
"Which means you won't be happy?"
"Nope,"
"I don't want you to leave,"
"Me neither, which is I want to give you something." Audrey walked to the bush and pulled out something from the ground near the stem. When she came back to him, Audrey handed him a red beanie hat.
"It's not the one your father gave you," she told him. ", but I hope that it's something close to it. Just a little something to remember me by."
"Where did get this?"
"I had a lot of free time here and made it. Back in my castle, one of my servants taught me to knit and sew."
Jay examined the hat, and saw his name in it, with a quote.
"'Once upon a dream,'"
"My servant told me that if you ever dreamt something more than once it'll come true,"
"The dream I always dreamt of was to find true love,"
"It was never to become Royalty?"
"That was more of a wish than a dream,"
"Oh,"
"I have something for you too." Jay then pulls out a small box from his pocket and got down on one knee. Audrey gasped.
"Are you doing what I think you're doing?"
"It's not a marriage proposal, just a promise ring. Promise me you'll always be with me when I need you, to always be there in time of danger. I want you to stay here and be happy with me."
"What about my parents?"
"We'll have a fake wedding. When you sign the final document, use your opposite hand you write with."
"That seems okay and very clever"
"Do you accept this promise?" Audrey thought about it for a moment. Jay was now an official Royal, because of her deal with Maleficent. They can now be happy together, with both their wishes coming true.
"Yes!"
