Alessia's POV:
Saturday morning I got up and decided to go for a run. All I could think about was Corey. I was so in the mood to talk to him and be around him and it was killing me that I couldn't. My crush on Corey was getting to me. I wish there was a way that I could be around him more often. I couldn't stop thinking about him. He was hot without even trying to be. Even his personality was hot. He's a little bit of a bad boy and I don't know why I find that attractive. He can stupid sometimes too so pretty much everything about him attracted me.

I started to go for my run. I threw on my thin leopard print sweater, some black tights and my runners. I tied my brown hair half up half down.

"Where are you going?" My dad asked. "For a run." I put in my earbuds and walked out.

Started lightly jogging down the street and around the subdivision. It was a beautiful morning for a run. This was my first time actually going all through this subdivision so I was taking a good look at everything. I turned another corner where there were more houses. I ran down another street and slowed down when I saw a familiar face... it was Corey. It looked like he was about to go somewhere. Where could he be going on a Saturday morning. I started to casually walk hoping my hair wasn't a mess. I pulled out my phone to check and it looked fine like I had before. I looked over from across the street and smiled at him.

"Hey." He smirked. I took out my earbuds. "Morning." I said slowly crossing the street. "I didn't know you lived here." I said. "Yeah I do, where do you live?"
"Just a couple blocks over. Where are you going on a Saturday morning?"
"I have to pick up my sister from my dad's house." He said. I looked a little confused. "My parents are divorced..." he continued. "Oh!" I said it hitting me. "I'm sorry." I said feeling bad. "It's okay." He shrugged. He seemed as if he didn't care but I could tell he was hurt. "You jogging?" He said staring me down.
"Yup." I said sighing. "That's hot." He smirked.

What did he just say? I turned pink a little

What did he just say? I turned pink a little. Corey was very flirty. I don't know if that was just him or if he was actually flirting with me. But he was not shy about it. "Thanks." I said giggling a little not really knowing what to say. "Well anyway I gotta go. I'll see you around though."
"Okay," I said walking away."see ya." I smiled. "Wait, Alessia," he said making stop dead in my tracks. "Yeah?"
"There's a big basketball game that we have next Friday night. You should come."
"Sure..." I paused smiling. "I'll be there."
"Great." He nodded getting into his car and driving off. My day had just been made and I had the energy to run some more.

Throughout the week Corey and I were spending make time together and got more comfortable with each other. He told me about himself and his family. That he had a little sister named Cindy. I could tell Corey was a bit of a player because he pretty much stared at every girl that walked by. But he was a nice guy but tough. I noticed he would walk home with me after school instead of taking his car. I told him about myself and my family and that I was half Mexican. "You're half Mexican?!"
He said surprised. "Yeah my dad's family is all from Mexico."
"So your mom is white and your dad is brown?" Corey was so white. "Yes." I laughed. "Why are you so surprised?"
"I don't know. I wasn't sure what your nationality was because you're a little brown but I didn't actually think you were half Mexican." I couldn't help but laugh again he was so mind blown. "Well I am."
"That's hot." He smirked. There he was again flirting but I don't know if it was just me or him! Either way I liked it. "I can speak it too."
"That's even hotter." He smirked again. Whenever he smirked I got butterflies and I couldn't help it. "Thanks." I said with a fake attitude. As we were walking Ryan, Johnny, Billy and a few other random guys drove by us honking the horn. They were whistling and shouting Corey's name. "Fuck off you pieces of shit." He said jokingly. They started making comments making everything so awkward. Corey gave them the finger and they continued driving. "Sorry about them." He scoffed. "It's fine. I don't pay attention to that stuff."
"You don't seem like the type of girl that does anyway."
"Is that a good or a bad thing?"
"Good I think." Corey was very mysterious and I kind of liked that about him. "Who did you go to Ryan's party with again?"
"Were you too drunk to remember?" I asked teasing. "Yeah I probably was." He shrugged. "I went with Emily and Kristen."
"Ugh I don't remember much from that night. Just maybe Jenna's ass in my face most of the time."
"Corey may I ask why you broke up with her?"
"She didn't let me do anything and I always did something wrong. She was just too obsessed with me."
"More than you're obsessed with yourself?" I teased. "That's not true I'm not obsessed with myself."
"Bullshit Corey. You are a little admit it."
"Whatever." He shook his head smiling. He was so cute. He didn't even want to admit it. "So you got any beef with anyone here yet?"
"What makes you think I'll have beef with anyone?" I asked defensively. "I don't know. These days everyone does with someone. Even if they don't know it."
"Well I don't, not that I know of. How about you?"
"Oh yeah I do."
"With who?!"
"Jack Ledger."
"Oh he's the one who crashed Ryan's."
"Yeah he's the biggest asshole you'll ever meet. We all hate him." He said disgusted.
"He seems like an asshole."
"Yeah were facing his team on Friday."
"That should be interesting."
"Yeah watch out for him Alessia he's a real dick." He said in a warning tone.
"How?"
"He thinks he's better than everyone else and him and his friends start fights a lot. He also tries to fuck every girl he sees."
"Oh shit." I said. "Yeah so avoid him as best as you can."
"I will. You should too then."
"Why?!" He almost laughed.
"Because you don't want shit going down."
"Alessia I don't care if he tries me I'm not afraid to knock him out." Corey was a tough guy which was really attractive.
"I know but still."
"Awe are you cornered for my safely?" He said in a mocking tone. "Well yeah, why would I want there to be a fight?"
"You're a goody two shoes type girl aren't you?" The way he said that made me blush.
"I am not!"
"You are Alessia." It was true I kind of was. "Okay I know I am and that's okay."
"That's right." He said. "Kay, I'll see you tomorrow." He running his hand through his hair.
"Bye Corey."

We parted ways. All I could think about was the way Corey acted towards me and I liked it.
