Alessia's POV:
That night we went to Emily's. "Technically we didn't have plans, but it still pisses me off because I thought we were going to hang out or something after and he said he was going to talk to me then thanks to Johnny and Billy who distracted him with that Connie Palairmo girl." I said rolling my eyes. "Yeah that's the thing with Corey. He can be kind of an idiot and sometimes he's girl crazy."
"I know." I sighed. "He was probably gonna ask me to hang out or something we were so close and then Johnny and Billy interrupted."
"Yeah Corey can be girl crazy but not as bad as Ryan, Johnny and Billy. That's all they talk about. Corey's more mature than they are." Kristen said. "That's true." I agreed. I pulled out my phone and saw that I had three missed calls from Corey and three texts saying for me to call him but I didn't wanna answer. "He's been trying to get a hold of me."
"Answer, what did he say?!" Emily said.
"No he's probably with Connie getting drunk or something I'll talk to him tomorrow, I'm a little pissed."
"Fair enough but if he wants you to call him that's special." Kristen smirked. "How?"
"Because, most guys would just text you to say what's going on but he wants you to call him."
"I don't know I guess it's not his fault that he's so hot." I said rolling my eyes with a laugh. "That was cute that he introduced you to his mom and sister though."
"I know it was! The moment was going great until Johnny and Billy came." I said hitting my fist on the counter. I wasn't legitimately angry just slightly shook.

The next morning I got up and dressed like I usually did. It was 10:00 when I finally decided to call Corey. "Hello?" He picked up. "Hi Corey." I said rolling my eyes smiling helplessly. "Hi Alessia, please don't be mad! Are you mad?"
I paused for a moment. "Just a little." I smiled. "Yeah I know cause I said I was going to talk to you after the game, I was gonna ask you to hang out but I ditched you because Johnny and Billy distracted me with that Connie Palairmo chick." I knew it. "I know. Technically we didn't have plans so it's okay." I said. "I know but still I said we were gonna talk after and I left. I'm sorry Alessia." I couldn't help but smile. "It's okay." I said wincing at the thought of Connie. "So did you get anywhere with her?" I asked to hide any sign of jealousy. "Well we talked for a while but that's it. Then we just went home."
"Oh wow I thought you would have went to some party with her and got drunk."
"What?! Why would you think that?" He said making me laugh. "Cause you're Corey." I said. "No there was no party last night there's actually one tonight a guy on my team and I was wondering if you wanted to go." My stomach fluttered. "Um... uh yeah sure." I said as casual as I could. "With you?"
"Yeah sure." He said flirtatiously. "I'll pick you up at seven."
"Okay... sounds good!" I said caught off guard by the plans he had just made. "Kay see you then look hot, bye." He said quickly hanging up. What the fuck did he just say? Look hot? I guess I should do it then.

In the afternoon I went shopping with my mom. "So who are you going to this party with?" She asked. "Um my friend."
"Who's your friend?"
"You haven't met him."
"Oh it's a him?" She said teasing. "Yes it is."
"That's nice Alessia. What's his name?"
"Corey."
"That's an attractive name." She said. My mom was easier to talk to about boys than my dad. "I know!" I agreed. "Is he good looking?"
"Very." I said smiling. "Will I get to meet him tonight?"
"I think so. As long as dad doesn't embarrass me or get all protective."
"Don't worry ill make sure he won't." She said reassuringly.
"Thank you because I actually really like him."
"Oh you do?"
"Yeah so dad better not embarrass me."
"He won't." My mom said. He better not.

I started getting ready at around 6:30. I threw on a pair of black ripped jeans, a red shirt with my green jacket over top and my black nikes. I put on mascara and lip gloss and made sure that I looked good. At 6:55 Corey told me he was on his way. Butterflies flew in my stomach from excitement and from me praying that my dad wasn't going to embarrass me. The door bell rang and I nonchalantly went to go get it. My hair flowed back as I quickly went to the door. "Hey." I said opening the door. He looked hot as always. "Hey." He said staring me down.
