"Ghost stories?" Kagami asks with an interested face. The camp fire makes a crackling noise, almost mistakable for someone moving around in the woods.

You, the Seirin basketball team, and Riko have all gone camping together. This is to make their teamwork even better and strengthen the bonds between them. You and Riko are best friends and you're very close to the team, so you were invited to join and of course you excitedly accepted.

"Are you afraid of ghost stories, Y/N?" Izuki queries from the log opposite yours.

You shrug in response.

He nods his head and a mysterious look appears on his face.

Your eyes trail over to Hyuuga who is sitting beside you. For some reason, you always manage to find it difficult to take your eyes off the boy.

"You sure you're good?" Hyuuga double checks. He's like this. Always making sure you're okay.

"I promise it's fine, Hyuuga." you smile reassuringly and he sighs and nods.

"Well then, let's start with my favourite campfire ghost story." Izuki smiles evilly and everyone sitting on logs suddenly became a bit scared as he begins.

"There were once some boys and girls who were at a party late one night. There was a graveyard down the street, and they were all talking about how scary it was.
'Don't ever stand on a grave after dark', one of the boys said. 'The person inside will grab you. They'll pull you under.'
'That's not true,' one of the girls said. 'It's just a superstition.'
'I'll give you a dollar if you stand on a grave,' said the boy.
'A grave doesn't scare me,' said the girl. 'I'll do it right now.'
The boy handed her his knife. 'Stick this knife in one of the graves,' he said. 'Then we'll know you were there.' The graveyard was filled with shadows and was as quiet as death. 'There is nothing to be scared of,' the girl told herself, but she was scared anyway.
She picked out a grave and stood on it. Then quickly she bent over and plunged the knife into the soil and started to leave. But she couldn't get away. Something was holding her back. She tried a second time to leave, but she couldn't move. She was filled with terror. 'Something has got me!' she screamed, and she fell to the ground. When she didn't come back, the others went to look for her. They found her body sprawled across the grave. Without realizing it, she had plunged the knife through her skirt and had pinned it to the ground. It was only the knife that had held her. She had died of fright. They say that she haunts the place where the graves she died is, because she is angry and has unfinished business." Izuki tells the story with a dramatic effect and you lightly shrug as he finishes.

"Our campsite was built on graves. The grave she died on."

Everyone's eyes widen except for yours. "That's a load of crap." you state.

"I'm not lying." Izuki stares into your soul and you are forced to look away in defeat.

"Whatever. I'm going to sleep now. Goodnight everyone." you wave goodbye to the team as you climb into your tent.

Shuffling outside of your tent wakes you up. It's still dark outside and you glance at your watch which reads:
3:30

"Shit", you murmur to yourself. Feeling a course of fear shoot through your body, you feel around for something hard. Your hand lands on a solid torch light which you had packed. Good enough, you can without a doubt defend yourself with it. Unless it's a ghost... In that case you're screwed. You hold the metal object close to you as the shuffling grows louder and louder.

The zip to your tent starts moving and your breathing becomes staggered.

It is quickly pulled down to reveal...

Hyuuga.

"What the hell, Junpei!? You scared the hell out of me, oh my God!" you smack him with your hand and put the torch back inside your bag.

He whimpers and ducks into your tent, zipping it back up.

"What's wrong?" you ask as you feel yourself relax beside him.

"I heard noises! I'm so bloody scared,
Y/N!" he cries out and throws himself under your sleeping bag. You chuckle and slide in next to him. You can feel his body shaking slightly.

"You were asking me if I'm okay with listening to the stories but I didn't think to ask if you were alright." you rest your hand on his shoulder and rub his arm gently.
"You should stay in here, considering if you go back out there you'll be killed by the ghost."

"Y/N!" Hyuuga cries out. "You're not helping!"

You can't help but chuckle. "Okay, okay. Sorry, Junpei."

"Can I... Stay in here, though?" he mumbles.

"Of course."

Silence takes over and the only thing that can be heard is the wind blowing outside and your gently hand rubbing your friend's arm. You wish he is more than just your friend, though.

Truth is, you had a crush on him before he even knew who you were.

You and Riko are best friends and you're always by each other's sides. So when you started attending basketball practice just to kill time, there was one boy you couldn't keep your eyes off. His amazing shots, his hilarious personality and his adorable face which is framed by his glasses.

For a while you decided on watching him silently in the corner... in a normal and totally not creepy way.

Until one day when you asked Riko who he was. She told you his name and some information about him, she even offered to introduce you two.

That was a long time ago, and yet you never moved out of the dreaded friend zone.

"Listen... I've needed to tell you something for a long time now." you say. He stares into your eyes.

It's now or never.

"I like you... a lot. I mean I don't want to ruin our friendship but I just want to put it out there that I like you. Yeah... I think about you all the time and I've been wanting to tell you for... a year now. It's not a little amount of like either. It's a stupid amount of like. It's the most like you've ever witnessed. It's too much like to comprehend. It's-"

"Hey." he interrupts your embarrassing ramble. "I-I like you too." he smiles.

"Well now I know you're just saying that because you're on the spot but it's okay if you don't like me back I just wanted you to know and I don't expect you to reciprocate the-"

He scoots closer to you and you immediately stop speaking. Your face goes bright red and your brain turns to total mush.

He moves his index finger and his thumb to hold your chin softly, and he leans in closer. Your eyes slowly close at the moment his lips connect with yours in an out-of-this-world kiss.

"Are you okay, Y/N?"

"YES." you are so close to fainting.

He gives you a minute.

"Are we dating? I mean we don't have to date if you don't want to I was just wondering if you want to but if you don't that's okay I-"

He crashes his lips into yours again to silence your constant rambling.

He pulls away and his face is almost as red as yours.

"Yes, Y/N. We're dating."

"Maybe I should ramble more often." you chuckle and he smiles upon hearing your angelic laugh. You may not find it cute, but everything about you is cute to Hyuuga.

"Man, I love Ghost Stories if they brought me to you." he whispers.

"Really!? Wanna hear another!?" you ask with enthusiasm.

"No. I hate them."
