You slurp the remaining drink through the straw and let out a sigh.

"Are you sure this is all you want to do, Shin-chan?" You tease your boyfriend with his least favourite nickname.

He scoffs at the name. You grin and rest your head on his shoulder to peer into the novel he is currently reading.

"Yes, nandayo. I already told you." Midorima manoeuvres the book slightly in your direction so you can read it too. A sweet gesture.

The small food joint is almost completely empty. The two waiters are taking orders at other tables and the chefs are still hard at work. The place shows no sign of shutting down but the darkening outside says otherwise.

"But... You won a really tough game today. I can't help but feel that you're bored sitting here reading. Shouldn't we be celebrating?" You explain.

Midorima sighs.

"I don't care where we are, idiot. I just want to be beside you, nandayo."

Your eyes widen and a smile spreads across your face.

"Aw, Shin-chan, you're so cute!" You exclaim as you wrap your arms around him.

"Stop it."

"I'm so proud of you!" You praise him.

"Why? What did Shin-chan do this time?" Takao slides into the seat opposite you and your boyfriend with a milkshake in hand.

"Only lead Shutoku to victory." You grin at the dark haired boy who laughs at your statement as a reply.

"Why are you even here, nandayo?"

"I just wanted to come spend some time with my best friends, of course. Why do you think I always have an ulterior motive? I just love you guys." Takao says with a pout.

Midorima and you share a confused look before glancing back at Takao. He slurps some drink and then shrugs.

"Can I also borrow some money?"

"I thought you just 'love us'." You roll your eyes. Clearly he did have an ulterior motive if all he wanted was money.

"I do! I do! But there's a video game I really wanna buy! It's karaoke." He wiggles his eyebrows as he proceeds to start singing at the top of his lungs.

Oh, no. Not again.

The waitresses turn and look at the scene Takao is causing. He stands up on the booth seat and strums his air guitar.

Words fly out of his mouth at a fast pace and he truly doesn't hold back on the high note. He's a complete one man band, trying to sing the instrumental parts as well.

The chef pops his head out of the kitchen to see Takao being an idiot.

"Dear, Lord. Kazu, sit down!" You exclaim and point to the seat. He pouts and plops down onto his butt as he mumbles swear words under his breath.

"You've caused a scene, nandayo." Midorima grumbles and covers his face with the menu. Before he could, you noticed a faint smile.

TRIP UPDATE: it's 1 am, jords & i are hungry. we're stopped over in pu dong, shanghai for the next 6 hours so we're going to go explore. hopefully make us tired for the next 8 hour flight 😴 but after that is MALDIVES!

i cannot possibly contain my excitement to have some REAL & COMPLETE alone time, if u know what i mean.

speaking of acacia, as soon as we landed & got thru security etc. i called saskia so jords and i got to hear acacia's voice. i miss my baby n it hasn't even been a day yet :/

p.s. i'm allowing kia to log into my wattpad to keep tabs on requests & all that because she's got tomorrow off and has nothing to do besides babysit my babyg anyway. all replies are from me, though. i'll be online as long as i have free wifi.

BUT since im stopped over in the beautiful shanghai, i'm just wondering if any of my readers are from china!? xo
