"Aomine, get off your ass!" You exclaim and point your index finger directly at the lazy basketball player.

"Sorry!" Sakurai quickly yells after you shout at Aomine.

"What are you three getting worked up about over there?" Imayoshi calls out after dribbling the ball. Your loud conversation seems to have caught the attention of the third years.

"Ah! Sorry Imayo-" Sakurai begins to apologise again on your behalf.

"Well, I'm not! You're wasting everybody's time just sitting there complaining, Daiki." You know Aomine better than anyone on that team, which means you know that he needs to find some sort of motivation before the Winter Cup Basketball matches begin, or else the Tōō team will be in trouble.

"Y/N..." Aomine says your name in shock from the sudden outburst. He knows you're right. "I'm going for a walk." He stands up and walks out of the gymnasium. Everyone can undoubtedly feel the intensity radiating off you after Aomine walked out.

"Are you okay, Y/N?" Your boyfriends sweet voice rings in your ear. The anger vanishes.

"I'm fine." You respond. As Sakurai's girlfriend you've spent the entire year attending all of the training and games that Tōō has participated in. Over time, you became closer with each member and you're now at the point where you care deeply for them all.

Sakurai steps in front of you. You stare into each other's eyes for a moment before he leans down and gently kisses you on the lips. He quickly pulls away with a tomato-coloured face and frantic eyes.

"Ah! I'm sorry, Y/N-chan, it just felt like the right moment. I'm so sorry, please forgive me!" He says in a rush. You grab a fistful of his jersey and pull him back down to you for another kiss.

"Those two... Such love birds." Imayoshi comments.

"Why are you still awake, Y/N?" Sakurai asks innocently from beside you. You move your head so you're facing him and the mushroom is wrapped in blankets and is clearly as cold as you are. He notices your shivering. "Are you cold?" Sakurai asks. You nod.

He quickly scoots over in his little bundle of warmth and pulls you closer. He looks cold but he's so warm compared to you.

"You should be telling me why you're awake. You have a game tomorrow." You say softly.

"I'm a bit nervous." He admits. "I'm sorry, I know it's cowardly, I just..." Sakurai trails off as he gets lost in his own thoughts.

You raise your hand and cup his cheek as you gaze into his big brown eyes. "Listen to me, Ryo. You aren't cowardly." His eyes widen as the words leave your mouth and he has no choice but to nod.

Sakurai realises that you realised and he blushes and opens his mouth, most likely to apologise.
