Tell me O' freebirds
How is the world outside?
As I am bound by these cold chains
And this grim prison
Is my only hide.Tell me O' songbirds
Till how far your songs reach?
I sing,
Behind the bars.
None lend ears,
The walls leech.Tell me O' Phoenixes
Tips and tricks to catch fire
As my wish
and will
to die
Have never been higher.Tell me O' Ravens
O' Crows
How your caws are a cause of dislike
They are melody
When you only hear
Chains rattle and
The prison guards' strikes.Tell me O' Redbreasts
How is it like to be always
Red,
I red too often
With blood and
the chillies I'm fed.Tell me O' Anna's
The literal symbol of the
constant change
When in a cell
So dark so grim
How large would be your colour range?Tell me O' Mockingbird
Do you giggle when you 'Mock'?
For the fun of the prison guards'
I often end up as
Their laughing stock.Tell me O' Peacock
King of birds,
Caller of rain,
I have done no sin
Then why so much
Suffering?
So much Pain?Tell me O' Buzzards
How is it like to
Dish upon the dead,
Please do accept my corpse,
My brown skin garnished
With blood red.~Ajay
